I work out, a lot!  It's the only thing that keeps my mind occupied enough.

Join a gym, or start going to a class regularly. Learn to cook/sew/knit/play chess. Find a new hobby. Read all the books on the 100 must read books.. or just read a book.  Just don't sit around and complain about it. That gets annoying real quick.

The gym keeps me super busy. It's something I actually look forward to. Also, watching new movies that I know my fiance wouldn't want to watch & reading.

I took up sewing, I was never good at it but it took time up and I enjoyed it. Later I utilized the skills and made my daughters dress' and summer shorts and shirts, my son's clothes, not too much.

    1. gym gym gym
    2. scrapbook it
    3. work on wedding DIY stuff. I wasn't planning on doing much but my FI just got randomly sent to Japan for a while so now I'm like.. eh why not, I have time :P
    4 .garden!!!
    5. get organized.. it's surprising how long that can take... It took me a coupel days just so sort through my clothes and shoes to decide what needs to be sent to goodwill now.
    6. get back in touch with a few people you lost touch with or just haven't seen in a while.
    7. book it . (as in go sit at starbucks and read)
I learned tha making a specific schedule with all this kinda stuff made time FLY by last deployment, because I had so many things to do as specific times

    1.I worked 45-50 hours a week.
2.Went to school full time (16-18 credit semesters)
    3.Went to the gym often
4.My friends and I started trying out all of the "hole in the wall" restaurants twice a week.
5.Made a list of books to read and read almost all of them
    6. I also avoided reading the news or getting on youtube to watch any homecoming videos. (I really didn't want to read anything upsetting about the war in the news not while FI was deployed at least and watching homecoming videos always seemed like a good idea until I watched them and was sad for like 2 days afterwards, so never again will I do that!)

join your local united way or other nonprofit agency. it could be volunteer unles they have open paid positions but it will keep you busy, help the greater good, and keep you focused on doing something good for someone else and not worrying. who knows maybe you will get a job there...whats your major? also Make A Wish have locations everywhere, red cross, lots of nonprofits! or boys and girls clubs?

I make jewelry, read, manage two blogs, (I would like to start) working out (more), volunteer at an animal shelter. I'm also currently look for a job, so that takes up some time too. Haha.
