We got a new dog :-)
I know we wanted to wait until January but Geno's separation anxiety has gotten worse so we went out on Saturday morning and adopted a sweet boy from our rescue organization.
He has a sad story (now with a happy ending). He was in a kill shelter and they put all their dogs in quarantine. Well, they forgot about him so he was in quarantine for 4 months! After that, he was brought to the rescue organization and was adopted by a young guy who was never home. He was in a crate for 12 hours a day. He was returned by the guy and lived in foster until Saturday!
His name was Nathan but he had NO idea what his name was and I have an ex named Nate so we changed it to Ike.

So, even with his past, he is the sweetest boy. They get along so well!
