Oh my, I just got a call from H that made my DAY! He rotates next summer and will be going afloat (CG has it pretty easy but still...) His top 4 choices were in the Boston area just for me because 1) tons of family lives there which should make it easier being apart and 2) my job field is pretty specialized, Boston is sort of where it's at if not DC.
Ok get to the point. H went into work this afternoon to catch up on emails while we were gone on our HM and had a voicemail from the CO of his number one choice cutter!!! Through the grapevine I guess he found out H was interested in going there and said if H wanted, the CO would call the detailer and "put in a good word." He said he'd love to have H aboard!!! Gahhhhhh now we just have to wait until March to see if it all pans out......
