Ugh!

Alright Ladies!!
Me and H got married December 1st.. He is deployed and we got married while he was home on RNR. It obviously has been a few months since we got married and we still have not received any BAH money. First the paperwork got "lost" and now they are saying since all the people that are in charge of it are deployed that it is taking a long time to go through. I am just worried something is not right or that something really got messed up and we won't get back pay. Any similar situations or advice on what to do!?!?

    Reread that sentence you wrote about them being deployed. They're busy. Do you have a POA that you can take care of it on post?

    FI's BAH was messed up for 2 months. It was super annoying and took a lot of emails and phone calls to get fixed but it did and we did get back pay

    Even when not deployed BAH can still be messed up. Our has messed countless times. I am sure you will get backpaid. If they are that busy nothing can be done right now. Just keep having you FI check in in personnel or whoever is in charge.

    It happens.  As I said in a previous thread H's separation pay was messed during this deployment.  He got it fixed and they did give him back pay. 

    Good luck! OH and congrats on the marriage!
