Thoughts - Address Stamp

So I've found these things called address stamps on etsy. Pretty stinking clever.
So obviously I want one.
But - would it be too improper to get one - obviously with my new last name on it -
ex: AMH and FI  Last Name
      Our Address

and use it for the back of the wedding envelope? Thoughts.

On our RSVP - it doubles as a postcard so I'm not too worried about that part. It's just actually the mailing envelope I'm concerned about. I'd rather find a better way were I wouldn't have to use the same last name, it would just be on the back of the mailing envelope. I guess I could just get one that says Anne and FI and then our address, completely ignoring the last name part...

You're definitely not supposed to use anything with your new last name before the wedding.  So you definitely shouldn't put them on anything with your wedding invites.

I would just have the response cards addressed to just you with your maiden name or just your FI.

If you do decide to order this stamp, don't use it before the wedding!

I think from an ettiquite stand point I dont think it's "proper" to use his last name yet.. I could be wrong though.  We did like Kara and her H and just used our First Names...

you could always just get it now and save it until after the wedding.  Or if you have your TY's already you could go crazy and use it for your envelopes?! Or add it to your Etsy Favorites.. and buy it after the wedding!

We do have a stamp with our first names and his last initial, like our wedding logo, but I'm okay with that.  I know it's not fully etiquette-approved, but oh well.  We're not doing it on our save-the-dates, but it'll be the return address on the invitations.

Uh... oops... just realized that we'll be moving before we send those invitations and the address is for our house!  The response envelope will have my parents' names and address anyway, so that's fine.  Hmm... well, we'll have mail-forwarding... how many invitations come back anyway???  I don't want to get a new stamp with my parents' address since I don't really want to advertise to all our guests that we'll be crashing at my parents' house.

For return address throughout our wedding, H and I just used our names on them. So it just said "H & Kara". I didn't want to start using his name already since it wasn't my name yet.

From an etiquette standpoint, I thought it would have to be either hand written or at least printed on there. For our invites, we had our return address printed on the envelopes(both the main and RSVP cards)

ETA: I could be wrong, since we're talking about the return address but I know Beach would have the right answer to this! ;)

    Is it this? Clicky
Because I totally want one and I was having the same dilema with the last name part too. I'm just going to use our first names and the address we'll be using after the wedding.
