Why is this board always so dead on the weekends? Although, now that I think about it, it's seemed pretty dead for a week or two lately. Sad.

What's up tonight?  I'm currently being lazy on the couch, watching foodnetwork and playing facebook games.

Im here! We are watching the pens game on DVr. I looked up the final score but H doesn't know it yet. We just came home from shopping. I got overwhelmed and will have to go back in the morning. :-/

I'm also here! TK has been dead for a while now and it sucks because it's usually when I have a lot of time on my hands! I'm sure after the holidays things will pick back up though. 

I'm home alone again, H is on duty! He's got it every 3 days now because of the holiday stand down which sucks since I'll see him less. I just finished up wrapping presents, I only have a couple more to do. I'm also listening to Christmas songs!!

Hike- shopping at this time of year overwhelms me too! I actually did most of my Christmas shopping online, which is awesome because I haven't had enough free time to actually go shopping for everybody. But I had to run to Target for random things tonight, and the crowds are just ridiculous.

Kara- duty every 3 days? That sucks. Is he at least off for Christmas? And since you're almost done wrapping presents, wanna come wrap mine for me?

Mel: I would love to! Gift wrapping is actually something that I love to do! Sometimes I wish I can be a professional wrapper.. haha And yes, he'll have duty this often probably until sometime next month when everyone are done going on leave. He does have about 5 days off for Christmas though and I cannot wait! Although normally, he does have duty every 4-5 days, depending on how busy their department is. 

Hike: It seems like TK has been good today, surprisingly!

At least he has some time off for Christmas. And even if he's on duty every 4-5 days, that'll still feel better than every 3. It's crazy how much difference that 1-2 days seems to make!

Oh definitely! 4 day duty sections already seems like it goes by quickly, now with the 3 days, it seems like I never get to see him but a few hours in the afternoon/night! We can't wait til Wednesday when he goes on leave so we can go up to Jersey and see family, and we might be hitting up Atlantic City for a night of fun!

That sounds like awesome fun! I'm looking forward to next week, my Christmas break starts Wednesday and FI comes home Thursday!!! I can't wait. :-)

Yay! That's awesome! Depending on what time he gets off work on Wednesday, we'll either stay the night in Atlantic City or at a casino somewhere in Delaware which we usually pass by. H just wants to get his poker face on!

Haha, I'm terrible at poker. My favorite game at the casino is Let It Ride, it's fun and easy and it doesn't matter what anybody else's cards are like.

Oh that's a fun game! BIL is addicted to it, I never got the hang of it but it's cool. I'm more of a slots/bingo person but I also like craps and poker. I even cleaned out the table at our holiday party last weekend. It was awesome kicking H's butt since he's the real poker player and not me. Haha

Oh yeah, especially since he hates to admit it too! Haha. It's even worse when it's in bowling because he used to be a league player!

Hello Ladies!  FI is in the shower so I just wanted to say hellloooo

I don't remember (KUI) who suggested the Yellow Tail Macato wine. But, you are my favorite person ever!!!!! We picked up 4 different bottles of wine and I have to say, that was by far my favorite.. I drank most of that bottle. It is a tad sweet to make the primary white wine at the wedding, but it is  just wonderful.

FI and I got a lot of wedding stuff done. We picked our cake (good lord that was my favorite part of the day..well besides wine testing... =D)

MEL!!! You friended me on facebook and I was sooo confused, I was like "I don't know this person..." and then I went "ohhhh yea I DO!" haha. FI was laughing at me.


We did our registry stuff yesterday, and then we went to my aparment to make dinner and work on soe packing before I went into work for 4 hrs in the ER... and wouldn't you know that my dog ATE our dinner while I was turned around? It was chicken breast marinated in this wonderful pineapple teryaki sauce and he ate my veggies too! grrr. He has NEVER taken food off the counter- bad habit he must've learned from my mom. lol.

We watched church on tv this morning because I was too tired/lazy to get up and go, haha. We are getting ready to go to lunch with my sister and her husband. Planning to go ride my horse today and do some flashcard studying.

I just got home from Church!  It was a wonderful service today!!  My mom and dad are going to pick up some new chickens, and then my Mom and I are going for a Mani/Pedi Day!! Till then I'm going to play FB Games and drink my Vanilla Chai tea!!  Oh! and watch some Food & Man Candy (Food Network with Robert Irvine... yummmyyy!!)
