I feel like whining!

I know we just had a vent thread a couple days ago, but I gotta get this out!

First of all, the low here tonight is going to be 28.  SERIOUSLY!?  I live in the Pac NW for a reason...mild seasons in the valley!  Ugh.  If it is going to be this cold it might as well snow, but it never snows in Portland! (I know compared to other places this is warm, but not for here...not in Portland!)

Second of all.  Two of my co workers are going to be in and out of the office the next couple of days for marketing events, so they decided to be nice and push their work out for a couple of days and do it today to leave me less to do while they are gone(I am the only one in the office trained to back them up of course) and then call me today and ask me to help with 3/4 of it today.  Why the heck would you worry about pushing it out if I have to do it today anyways?  I would rather have it all spaced out over two days.  ARGH!  I guess I should adopt their behavior and lessen my quality and speed of work!  All this after spending my entire weekend baking for stupid dessert platters for management and our office!!

Also if one more person calls me or I call them and they are rude I am gonna let em have it.  I don't care who they are!

Wow that's really frustrating. I had a similar thing at work today. I work at our college newspaper in the advertising department. Another guy and I are in classifieds(property management/apartments) and we have a big renter's guide coming out in February. Our quota is $44,000 and we've sold $18,000. It was my coworker, our boss, and me in the office talking about it and he was like yeah I only have 5 more people to sell to then I'm done. My boss and I looked at each other like WTF is he thinking? And he was like Katelyn you gotta get going. I've sold more than he has and started selling before him!!! So annoying.
