***Amh*** (shoes)

okay my bad... I thought it was zim looking for the shoes, but it was YOU looking for shoes, zim looking for a sparkly tablecloth.. lol.. anyway some ideas..

Something you could add lace to ^

Of course one of the problems for right now is that we're in winter and very few people want white stuff in winter... It'll be easier come summer but I found this stuff on etsy that seemed more in your direction of vision..

(this one is made to order so it wouldn't have to be THAT much)

Just shoe clips, appliques...

Thanks! I'll check them out, we spent the weekend shopping so I've been offline! I did try on a pair Sami suggested yesterday and they were really comfy.

    oh yayy!!!!
I'm glad I could help, even if it's for a small detail like a shoe clip :] tehehehe
I was super worried about ordering from Etsy for the longest time... Wedding planning made me break down and try it out and I have had nothing but great experiences on that site. LOVE!

    sidenote:
TK is pissing me off royally.. I can't keep up with new posts on threads! It's such a glitchy disaster!! >_<

    *end sidenote*

How's the planning coming along? :]

    I hate TK glitches.
It's coming along, I'm starting to get in that 'holy $hit I don't have any time' phase. We hit 3 months to go on Saturday. Invitations go out on the 29th, I meet with the reception place next month to decide on food, I meet with the florist at the end of next month to confirm flowers and the cost. I'll be having a hair trial over Christmas (my bm is doing my hair - since she is actually my hair person lol). I need to do a make up trial in Feb. And I still haven't gotten a lot of the other things done, like shoes - obviously - garter, bra and panties type thing. - Do you even wear a bra??! Yeah - you get my point. lol.

hahaha I feel ya.. the 3 month mark is a big OMFG O.o????  mark hahaha.
IF you're stressing, write out a list with the categories "ceremony" "reception" "RD" "wedding party" etc... THat really helped me not stress over it by seeing it all written out in MY handwriting on ONE sheet of paper.
Also, I picked out my bra and spanx at the 6 month mark.. yeah... Then I wore neither. Total waste (except the bra is really good so I actually wear that frequently now :P ) Those little things will fall into place, and the big stuff falls into place if you have it schedule in, which you do! So you're good :]
Don't forget to take pics at your hair trial.. then you can go back later when you're alone and see every little detail of it.. Easier to decide if it's exactly what you want or not (and then you have an excuse to AW on here ;)
Are your invites all done and ready to be thrown in the mail, or is that still a "to-do" ?
yay three month mark!!!! :P bahaha

I didn't wear a bra at all! I tried one on with my dress, but it made my dress super uncomfortable!!  Just a tip!!

SamiJ - THanks for sharing... this might be TMI. BUT - I have small girls. How does that work, if they need some - uhh.. help? Like.. a lot of it. I wear like an A/B. And my normal bra is a push up.

embarrassed look - they're a 'to do' - they've been sitting in a box since they arrived. I have some serious stuff to do this week. We have PreCana next weekend, and I've got to find time to do this Family Planning Course and turn that in in time. Something about charting my cycles doesnt entise me much.
Thanks, I'll have to write down that list. We still have a vague idea for the RD - its between two places now. So.. we just need to go eat at the other one and decide and tell FMIL.

I'm really trying to calmy freak the heck out, so.. hopefully that will be okay. I plan on deciding on the transportation stuff today/tomorrow. Making a list of all the addresses and start addressing them this week. And I really need a trip to the Hobby Lobby to do signs. We decided to only go with a Sweetheart table, and a bridal party table - where they can sit with their dates. And then grooms family and brides family. So.. it really is little things. Kind of.

You have to actually chart for the class??? We watched a 20 minute DVD on it and called it good :)

My Ladies are far from small... This probably is TMI: when I put my dress on, I bent over and pulled the girls up, and kind like arranged the girls where I wanted them, then because my dress had a corset back I held them while I got laced into my dress...

Yup! Actually have to chart. They sent this book home that REALLY explains things (and I mean really in like a in depth explanation) and I felt extremely violated when I found a thermometer was included. But yeah - our Bishop requires the entire class. So.. fun fun fun stuff here. NOT. I keep putting it off but I really shouldn't be.

Gah I do not envy you....though, I don't know, maybe you plan to use the method so I'm not trying to judge :) I just think that's a LITTLE personal for marriage prep. Have fun with it!! :)

Sami - I would of done the same thing! And I am slightly jealous. I wish I had bigger girls.
Irish - Ehhh... I don't know if we'll really use it. Again TMI - but I haven't been in BC since last December and so far we're doing pretty good - *Knock on wood* we really should be more careful, but eh.. whatever I guess. I can see how the method would be nice or come in handy if we have a hard time getting pregnant, but I am not a fan of it at the moment. It is way too in depth and wayyyy too complicated.

    bahahaha oh boobie convo...
Yeah I'm a 32DD... Usually I keep them locked and loaded. My dress fit so well that I didn't need anything... until I got the flu... and it was a little too lose on the day-of.. :/ oh well. You can only tell in a couple pictures. I was pretty good at keeping the gown up where it should be.

What is this course? For school or for military? sorry a little lost there... my brain has decided to shut off for the day after my horrible final... so now I'm just deep cleaning like crazy to start the break clean and fressssshhh :]

Oh ALSO!! Dsw has a few adorable shoes coming in.. like this
  • edited December 2011
I love DSW. They've always been really awesome - although they had a pair of those nina shoes in there that they are not advertising on their site which makes me super mad.

It's a class required by the church for us to get married. Basically teaching us when its okay to have sex if we want a baby and when we should avoid it when/if we dont want a baby. It's proven to be just as affective as birth control, 99% and more affective than condoms (85%).
