Cake Stands for the dessert cups:

I did these a while ago but they were still fun :

We're not doing a guestbook. Instead we are doing "wishes" so these are what I made.. They were a PITA!

The only thing I did was make the Guest pen. Looked good only because I think it was dark and you couldn''t see it so well. I will admit it was very easy. Lavender ribbon, lavender ostrich feather and lavender duct tape. Oh, and I did make a Hungarian head band but that came out so-so.

    No pics mob?

My aunt is the champ right now. This last week she made my royal blue, bling outlined, aisle runner.
My menu cards (which look amazing, but I accidently deleted the pics oi)
My Candy buffet, cake table, WP table signage.
And she just designed the invitations for my bridal shower that incorporate the centerpieces from the wedding. Love. My. Aunt.

Out of 2 photographers, neither took the pic of the decor that I told them I REALLY wanted (I think most people know the double photographer story).  Anyway, since it wasn't taken here is a pic of my DIY on our living room floor.

My mom, 3 of her regular customers at her quilt shop, and I made 12 of these the week before the VR (we were literally still stitching hours before the VR).  Our helpers, the mothers, my WP (or is it a VRP lol), and I all got one of them after everything was over.  We also had table numbers with pics of military hospitals on the other side.

I found a picture of the pen surprised there was one, this was before the guests arrived. I am also posting the fruit tree. I literaly had blisters(which I covered with band aids and gloves) from all the chopping, peeling and cutting of the fruit. I did post the headband in an earlier post.

Would have LOVED to have an Aunt like yours for DD wedding! There were so many last minute details and things that weren't even close to being complete like getting all the rental tables, pillars, candle holders, and stuff delivered let alone the man power to help set up. Like I have said if you were on the outside it was stunning, we were to exhausted to enjoy it.

    Pen

Fruit tree the top wasn't straight up when this was taken as you can see. We also had rented 3 chocolate fountains if you wanted chocolate covered fruit. One got tipped over by someone that thought they could put thier skewer straight through

chocolate fountains/smores station, not a DIY White choc. dyed lavender and milk choc.

Thank you, this dress means the world to me! I told my mom when I was really young that I wanted her to make my wedding dress. (Growing up, we were really poor and she would make all of my clothes and go to stores and copy the latest styles.) So now that I am able to keep my word to her and have her do it, man, it feels so amazing.

This also allowed me to splurge on the shoes! Ha ha!

Is it sad that I didn't really do any DIY for my wedding? I'm not very creative nor crafty and I didn't want to take a chance on messing things up! All I did was glue name cards on their holders, and stuff the favor bags! But I did design our programs, if that count for something. lol

My mom got creative with our cardbox

I'm on my iPad at FI's at apt so I can't PIP but I have gotten my invitations put together and next week i'll be working on my centerpieces. I've been really bad at procrastinating these past couple weeks because i'm in a planning lull but I need to get working! Seeing everyone's pictures is definitely motivating me to get working :)

How did you make those hangers! I seriously just spent $20 (w/shipping) on one on Etsy.. Ughh!!

I'm not sure what DIY stuff I am going to try to do.. I'm getting our save the dates off of shutterfly. I think I'll do the programs but I'm not sure how to do those..?? I know I am doing some neat signs for the favor table and the 'signature drink' menu and the card table and stuff like that. - we'll see. I think I'm going to do a lot more than what I think I am. Because I want it vintage and country. But I don't have anything to brag about LOL. I guess I need to get started with 6 months to go.. yikes.
