How was everyone's weekend? Mine wa a bit on the crazy side with car trouble,  cleaning my apartment (Kitchen, Bathroom, Closet.. CHECK), birthday parties, and getting a new DL.

A F/U of the post from last week about getting my name changed... The lady at the DMV was incorrect, I did not lose my middle names because I signed it wrong, I just couldn't CHANGE my middle names. But the problem really is that I have two middle names.... if I had only 1 middle name, they would have just added another name, but because I had two middle names they had to remove a name and apparently removing is a bigger deal than adding. So I just changed my last name. I'm not happy with it, but life will go on.,


What is going on for everyone?

We did tons of errands to get together the rest of the gifts for the people at our wedding. (Bridal party, musicians, flowergirls, etc. Feels good to get that out of the way.

We also opened/unpacked and put away all the stuff from my bridal shower. It's amazing how many people want to give you stuff just because you're getting married. I'm talking aunts who haven't even given me a Christmas card since I turned 18 doling out the big gifts.... crazy!

I didn't do much. I'm so stressed out with everything right now ugh!

ZIms- Ahh.. don't stress... reading through your blog, (Sorry, I'm a creeper) but you seems so prepared. Heck I didn't get my RD dress until the day before the RD, nor the readers/ushers gifts, or the programs HAHA. And you know what?  it turned out just perfect.

I spent the weekend meeting with a realtor to get ready to put H's house on the market since he got the PCS e-mail a copule of weeks ago.  We still have no idea where but we know that it will be soon after this deployment. 

So basically I had to pack up a bunch of stuff for a POD to come and get it since the realtor said to get the clutter out of the way, get painters, cleaners and yard people over there to get the house ready, and all why I am 3 hours away. I will be going back there in the next few weeks for the work to be done. 

Such as life....bright side, the pool is across the street so I can go there while they are painting and power washing the house.

Crown, that sounds a little stressful, but also really exciting that you'll get to live together!

I spent a lot of time with my family this weekend.  I took my MIL out to lunch on Saturday for mother's day since H is away.  We went to this hibachi place that had a nice lunch special and it was a lot of fun!  Then I went to my parents' house for Saturday and Sunday since my brother returned home from his study abroad.  We have this thing called 'senior week', which is basically a week full of fun events centered around drinking for the graduating seniors.  I can only do a couple of the events due to work, but last night we had a great time bar-hopping downtown.  I haven't drank in a while, so I'm dragging today!  It doesn't help that my body won't let me sleep in anymore!  So all-in-all, a great weekend.

I'm going shopping for a new car today!  I'm excited, but kind of nervous.  My dad is coming with me because I've never bought a car before and I don't wanna get screwed!

Well, FI came home! The highlight of my weekend. I never thought I'd be so happy to hear him curse at the TV screen (video game). He's off for a couple of days, so it's pretty low key. Really just putting stuff away and going grocery shopping. We hit up the farmer's market yesterday, mmmmmm bacon citrus goat cheese. 

My dress I'm wearing to my friend's wedding finally shipped, but I don't know if it's going to get here by Saturday. And FI's best friend and his gf are coming to stay with us for the wedding, so I'm trying to get the house together.

Yay for FI being home again.  I know it is the little things.

Wait....did you say bacon citrus goat cheese? I just lost my thought.

Irh- very excited to move to the next adventure in our lives.
