Can it get any hotter?!

I'm in NC and it has been ridiculous these past 2 weeks! I'm ready for it to cool off! Can fall hurry itself up?

It won't cool off until October or November.. I can remember wearing flip flops to school one week, and having a snow day the next.  I love this weather!! Much better to me than WA rain...

I wish! We're always in the 100s here. The heat is so unbearable, and I just want fall to come already so H and I can get on with our PCS!

Yes I will take it over the rain..you would think 24 years in this state I would be used to it..but nooo :) I guess it's because I would rather be laying out at the beach or pool than stuck working in a bank!

I'm in NC too! I'm counting down the days until Autumn... I can't wait until the high is 65 degrees in the middle of day.

Yes! I saw you sign on the post "Roll Call" you're in Fayetteville! I'lll be down there permanently (well for the next 2-3 years) in November! That's supposed to be the hottest place in the state! I'm down there all the time to visit FI and it can be miserable!

Lol I didn't know Fayetteville was the hottest place in the state! Darn it! It is miserable... We can't even go swimming because the water feels like bath water. :( But I suppose its like that around the country too.

Here at the beach is SC there is zero breeze!!! Trying to train for a 12k and 1/2 marathon in this mess is killing me.  I am moving my training inside.

I will however not complain too much since I HATE winter and to me cold, snow, wind and rain should be included in the "four letter" word list.  Laughing

Today was a hot one for sure! We live near the beach so the breeze is nice. I'm really looking forward to autumn and hiking!

I don't think that anyone can top our 118 degree day.  I also worked in a warehouse with no air conditiong.  :(

DD is in Louisiana and she cooked an egg on the sidewalk today. @ 6pm the temp was showing 100. The humidity is always horrible there.

While I was there in June it so humid at that time that the windows in the house I rented had condensation on them because of the a/c inside and the humidity outside and that was 6 weeks ago!

I sure don;t miss it, but  come winter you will hear me piss and moan about the snow and say how I kick myself for ever moving up here! It's a vicious cycle every year!
