colors to go with Class A's (green)

Hi! I am new to the board and going to be a first-time military wife very soon!

I am looking for some photos of some colors that go with the green Class A uniforms. I am a visual person so I like to see things before going with it. :-) I have tried to search this in google with no luck.

Any ideas/suggestions would be great. We are having a small wedding so not alot of the color will be used.

Am thinking of going with a deep purple. TIA

    I think your best bet will be to lurk on this board (meaning to go through the old posts on this board.. they go quite a ways back).
    You will find other posters about Class As (we know they are green ;) ) and color coordination regarding them that may help you.

    Deep purple would be beautiful... I would use that as the main color and soften it with nice taupe/gold/ivory to keep the cohesion. You don't have to base how many colors you are using on how large the wedding is, either, so don't feel restrained in that department.
    Unfortunately, my Fi is Navy, so I am no use to you regarding pictures.. sorry.

    ditto everything from FTL, but you could also go get paint swatches if you'd like and you are visual. I've done it for a bunch of things where I was trying to see how colors would look together. I even have the full color book for a few companies (for work) that I have gladly used for things like this as well.

    The purple wiould look good i think. Really any color will work on a whole. The uniforms are ment to go with anything. I wish I could be of more help too but FI just made the call the other day that he can't wear his greens without getting a new jacket so he has converted to the land of blue. After the move I don't even know where his greens are any more or if we left them in WA. Good Luck!!

    Prettyirishgirl - what do you do for work?  I'd love a job that required me to use paint swatches!  I need a creative outlet or I might just burst.  This job is diluting my soul.

    Even though I do not like purple (personal reasons), I think it might look fine with Class A's.  You could always try black or blue (royal or dark would be my suggestion).
