but i just wanted to say happy 4th of july and a special thank you to each and every one of you.

i just watched homecoming on tlc and cried for basically an entire hour. i have been long distance with my fiance for 2 years now and i know it is nothing like what some of you go through but i can relate in the smallest way. my heart goes out to you and the men you love.

Thanks, and long distance is definitely tough no matter the reason.  Our loved ones in uniform really appreciate the support!

For what it's worth, I don't watch those shows because they break my heart.  I can't handle that much emotion - when it's my turn, I'll take the extreme happiness after the long melancholy sadness, but I'd rather just pretend it doesn't exist until I have to actually deal with it in real life!  Also a reason why I don't watch "Army Wives".

Dude.. I cry whenever I watch "Stick It". I think I have over active tear ducts.  I cried at work the other day when an older lady told me how much Curves means to her.. I cry at those ASPCA commercials with all the animals and their big eyes and stuff

I pretty much cry at anything patriotic.. songs/music, commercials for military, those tv shows like "coming home" .. suuuuch a sucker right here.. haha
