Savannah friends come help me

So I said earlier today I might be looking for restaurant recommendations. H and I just decided to go down to Savannah this weekend for dinner and such so tell me the best places to go. I'll take prices from cheap to expensive, so basically tell me your favorites and why.

The Lady and Sons.  It's Paula Deen's restaurant so it's kinda pricey, but I've been there a few times and every time I'm pretty sure I've died and gone to heaven.  If you like crab cakes, they are fantastic.  Everything I've ever had there was really good, but my favorites were the Crab Cakes, Tilapia & the Shrimp & Grits (I'm a huge fan of ALL shrimp and grits.  I'll try anyones at least once).  There's also a buffet for like $17 thats "All you care to eat" (thats the classy way to say it..) that includes a salad and a dessert.  Here's the Link: The Lady & Sons

I've never been to her other (kind of) restaurant, but It's called Uncle Bubbas Oyster House.  I think it's mostly seafood.  It sounds really good, but I'm also really hungry.Tongue out

Let us know where you go!!

Um haha Vinnie van go gos is pizza crown and a few others mentioned it - fav because their pizza is great and its in the city market so its a nice walking area with other things around, and because FI and I had our first date there. It is cash only though so bring the bills.

Moon River Brewing is on bay street has really good beer - One of the SCAD Historic Preservation teachers and her husband own it so we used to go there all the time for study stuff and all. Food was good last time I went, but I'm not going to Lie I went for the beer.

Zunzies is on East York at about 100 I think close to a corner. Addicting - it is rally good but it is more of a take it and go kind of thing and ther eis always a line so it is hard to miss.

Juarez - its Mexican on Broughten. Centrally located pretty good, used to go a lot between classes or after class when I was working on the Pharmacy about a block over

Wall's Bar B Que - local bbq - it was really good if it is still there. It is in an alley, and it looks like the back of a huse, but it was very good the last time I had it. Very traditional and very good. We used to go for meat week and FI and I go when we go back to Savannah it is at 515 East York Lane and has a red bench out front witha  very small overhang and usually a few potted plants

Skip The Lady and Son's and Uncle Bubba's.  TLS's is not worth and and UB's is gross.  If you want good country cooking, hit Sister's of the New South on Skidaway near Victory Dr.
If you want a nice dinner, SOL is my favorite. They post all of their nightly specials on their FB page.  The other day, they posted a squash ravioli that sounded amazing.  Pray you go on a night when they are serving the bread pudding with the coconut sauce.  It's life changing and foodgasmic.
If you like Moon River, go to Churchill's.  Yum!
If you head out to Tybee, Huck-a-poo's for pizza, Crab Shack for seafood or Sundae Cafe for lunch or a nice dinner.
    Try B Matthew's for breakfast.
    Cha Bella is amazing
There is a new Italian Place on Abercorn, downtown.  It starts with a P and I can not remember the name.  My mom said it was impressive and has recomended it to us a few times.
I could go on and on.  Let me know if you have questions

I love Moon River Brewing! H says sitting there is when he realized he really loved me and might want to marry me someday.

I forgot.  Greek Fest is this weekend.  It's at the Hellenic Center at 14 W Anderson St.  It is one of my favorite festivals of the year.
If you don't make it to the festival, Olympia Cafe on River Street has Greek food that you would slap someone for.  We usually just get the platter with all the yummy stuff on it.

Damn you TK for not letting me edit. I also wanted to add thanks everyone for the recs. I'm looking forward to a date night with just him, past few weeks we have been with friends most of the weekend, so we want some time alone especially since my parents will be here soon and then he's leaving for a training to the West Coast soon after that.

The Olde Pink House ranks among the top meals I've ever eaten in my life. Not terribly expensive by my DC/NYC/Miami experiences, but it will run you about $10-15 for appetizers, $15-25 for entrees with a few specials likely around $30 each. Well worth it for an amazing meal and fantastic ambiance!
