Santa Fe Hotels for Guests

Planning from a distance and might not get to preview the hotels we recommend. 
Reception is at hotel La Fonda.  Best room rate we were giving for our block is $159 a night.  Can anyone suggest some other good but less expensive hotels to recommend for our guests?  If there is a company in town that also books private homes/condos I would want to give that option to guests as well.  Bottom line...looking for nice accommodations, nice price, unique, New Mexico feel, and no cookie cutters.

    We are doing our wedding block at the Lodge, the quoted price was $129 a night for a block of 20 rooms.

    You might be able to get a better rate at Inn of the Governors.  I think it's a little nicer than LaFonda, and it's still within walking distance.  For private homes, contact Casas De Santa Fe.  They helpd us find the home where we're having our wedding.  They have a lot of listings, all beautifully furnished.

    I'm also having my reception at La Fonda.  We booked rates at the following hotels for our guests:  Hotel St. Francis (my favorite), Plaza Real, Sage Inn and Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi.  Sage Inn is the least expensive.  It's a couple of miles from the Plaza, but they have a shuttle.
