Caterer recommendations

What caterers are you using or have experienced at other events? Our venue (The National Nuclear Science and History Museum) will let us bring in any licensed caterer we choose, so we've got a lot of options.

The museum highly recommends Blue Plate Special, but they're at the very top of our price range. We're thinking about the Cooperage since we'd need to hire our alcohol servers through them anyhow (and we both love Scarpas). I'm open to any suggestions, though!

We used the Cooperage, and were SO HAPPY!!!  I can't recommend them highly enough.  They were easy to work with, the food was great (got so many compliments), and the people who were there on the night were absolutely fantastic!!

I went to a wedding catered by the Artichoke Cafe and it was seriously some of the yummiest food I've ever had. Of course, I'm not sure how expensive that was...

I think Slate Street Cafe caters as welll, if you like their food.

After EXTENSIVE research, meeting and quotes the only company who respected our budget was the cooperage.  Jim is awesome and so helpful!  He has been one of the best parts of my planning.  One word of advice, don't ge the salmon display, it looks good but isn't super tasty :)

I am also using Connie from Quarters for our bar and he is awesome too!

The nuclear museum is super cute for the receoption!
