Honeymoon

Hello everyone!   I'm a Maine bride but FI & I are going to road trip through VT for our honeymoon at the end of June.  We have to be in Stowe for the following weekend so we're just going to take our time getting there.  We have nothing planned, we're just going to wing it but if anyone has any suggestions on fun things to do I'd LOVE to hear them :) We alreadying talking about Ben & Jerrys, Cabot House & the Magic Hat Brewery.. any more fun tours or must see sites or hotels to stay at?

    I have a lot of suggestions, but I'm a native living in NYC right now... and these are all the things I wish I was doing this summer:

    My first job was as the night maid at the Rabbit Hill Inn, and now that I'm all grown up I am staying there for my honeymoon night.  It is pricey, but unbelievably romantic... and the food is amazing!

    While you're at Cabot, you should definitely have dinner at Claire's http://www.clairesvt.com/

    And that whole area has a lot of great foodie tour destinations, like Jasper Hill Farms (artisinal cheese!) and Hill Farmstead Brewery (beer!).

    It's a beautiful state to hike in.  I love Wheeler Mtn.
