Guest Transportation

I'm toying around with the idea of providing guests with transportation on the day of the event. Has anyone chartered a bus in the Burlington area? I've heard of brides using school buses. Has anyone tried this?

Some of the Limo companies have the smaller buses you can rent.  There are also a couple of private buses that seem pretty affordable.

My husband got us a school bus from the Windjammer in Burlington to Kingsland Bay State Park and back.  He called Mountain Transit Inc., which is based in Milton.

There's a service called Butler's Bus (with school buses!) that services different locations in VT.  I know they work in the NEK, but not sure about Burlington.  We are using them for our wedding :-) Call 866-409-5237

I used a school bus for our guest, and I have to say it was NOT cheaper than chartering a regular bus.  I was in a bit of sticker shock...just make sure you read the fine print.  I didn't notice that our company charged for total driving time...including the HOUR EACH WAY it took for the bus to get to us.
