Is anyone hiring a wedding planner? My sister had a day-of-coordinator and it was a life saver. I'm definitely doing this (i would not survive a wedding day without it!) but I am also considering a full blown planning package. My mom purchased a consultation package for me for my engagement. It was so perfect in helping the hubby to be and I understand what we need to consider, set up and dissect the budget, help identify possible venues, vendors, etc based on our budget as well as create an overall design idea based on our visions. I am so grateful for the 4 hour one-on-one time we had with her. It was the perfect beginning to a very organized, smooth planning process. However, it really made me realize all the work that goes into wedding planning. I'm not creative enough to follow through with the unique ideas she had for us or to create the dream I really want. What do you ladies think? I think it would be worth it because I know im going to be overwhelmed!
