Eastern WV Panhandle wedding locations

Hi All -
Its so weird that I'm on this site inquiring about MY wedding! You know that movie 27 Dresses <-- thats me! Always the bridesmaid never the bride. Well on 10/10/12 my BF of 6 years (finally) proposed! Since we have been together for a while all ready we do not want to wait to get married. We are looking to get married later winter/very early spring. Just as long as it is not hot outside. We are snow people.
We live in Martinsburg WV and have been here for 3 years. I know the area pretty well now but I do not know great wedding locations around here. I know of the Holiday Inn, Purple Iris, and Historic McFarland House. Anyone else know of any hidden gems down the 81 corridor? Say Hagerstown, MD down to Winchester VA
Thanks!!
Heather

  • I dont know if I responded to this post yet or not but I cant say enough about th Skyline Ballroom at Hollywood Casino. The place was just remodled, it overlooks the racetrack and the mountains and has the best staff! They are REALLY reasonably priced for the location and they take the time to find something that works with your budget. My coordinator was Nancy and you can give her a call at 304-724-4829. Tell her that Jess from her wedding in June told you to call her!!! Good Luck!!!!
