Wedding recap with loads of pics

:::waves::: hi ginadog...I think we're the only ones around here these days, but here's the wedding recap you suggested.

We had the most amazing weather, we totally lucked out. Now it feels that was the last day of summer & we already have snow in the forecast. It was 78 degrees with not a cloud in the sky.

We started the day with Jamie at Beleza Salon for hair. A friend did our make-up and we just did our own nails. It was a fun, girly morning. Then we took the shuttle and got married in a friend's yard.

My daughter walked me down the aisle.

I have to give props to my vendors because they made the day incredibly easy for me. They also happen to be the most affordable I could find, so we were able to stick to our budget. If anyone wants contact info, let me know.

Congratulations!  What a gorgeous day you had indeed!  How sweet your daughter walked you down the aisle.

Thanks for sharing your photos!  I think I am going to go the Albertsons route too.  Do you have them premake the bouquets to your liking or are some already made?  I also thought of using Farmer's Market vendors (well first see if anyone does sell flowers!).

How many guests did you have?

Is that your dog I see?  I so wanted to have my dog there (Gina's her name), but Dornan's doesn't allow dogs.

I worked with a girl at Albertson's on the bouquets. I told her what flowers I like and showed her some pictures. They didn't end up 100% like the vision in my head, but they were beautiful. There are for sure at least 2 or 3 vendors at the Saturday market depending on when you get married (it ends the 3rd week of Sept.) If you're on a budget, Albertson's is awesome. I got 5 bouquets and also the flowers I put by the arch for around $300 total.

We had around 70 guests. I would have invited more people if I had known how many would flake on us!

That is my dog! Both of my dogs were ring bearers. I had a dog sitter come pick them up right after the ceremony so they weren't under foot, but there was a chihuahua at our wedding all night that kept ending up on the dance floor. I thought that was pretty sweet to have a chihuahua attend our wedding...LOL. Here's a better pic of the girls. The rings are tied to one of the flowers on their collars.

That is great to know about Albertsons!  I would probably work with them.

I'm sorry you had a high flakage rate!  Were they locals or OOT people mainly?

Again, super jealous your dogs were there!

BOTH. Like, my boss came for the ceremony and then claimed she had issues with her kids (who were home with her husband...he can't handle his own kids???) and left before dinner (which we paid for). At least 5 other people did this-bailed before dinner. You would think they'd come for the free food & booze if nothing else!<div>
</div><div>Also, the friend who was supposed to walk the dogs down the aisle called a week before & said she didn't have the money to come. Days before, she put on my FB page "can't wait to see you, yaaaay!!!" Meanwhile, she had no money, no plan, and no plane ticket. </div><div>
</div><div>Ugh, but the catering bill is paid & all is well. Now those people can just see the pics of how much fun we had & know they missed out <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif" border="0" alt="Tongue out" title="Tongue out" /></div><div>
</div><div>Someone I know is getting married at Dornan's today and it is <em>pouring</em> down rain...I do hope you have better luck on your day, but today may be a good opportunity for me to let you know how they deal with adverse weather.</div>
