  • I might have a drink after work.  I'm having tacos for lunch.  Does that count?

  • I have an exam and class until 10. I don't think there's going to be much Mardi Gras celebrating here.

  • I thought about making King Cake with the little Bean tonight, but I don't know that we'll have time. Maybe this weekend we'll do something. Other than that, no plans for tonight.

  • Our church is doing a pancake supper this year that I don't have to put on!!! I'm really excited about that. And then we're going to cheer on UH baseball and probably stop by the campus bar for a party they're having.

    Those fasnachts look so yummy!!

  • I think living on the West Coast puts a damper on Mardi Gras.  I haven't done anything ever for MG.  It's just not a big deal around here.

  • Same here, too. It's more of a deal down in L.A. (read: Lower Alabama). I didn't even know today was Mardi Gras, to be honest.
