Re: Tell me...

Best day? Probably the first day of the first vacation I took with BF. I was just so happy to be experiencing something new with someone so fantastic.

Worst day? I guess the day after my law school graduation, I won't go into it here, but it was bad, and totally unexpected. If you really want to know you can ask me, but I just feel funny telling a bunch of people I don't know about a really sad day. I don't know if this is the worst day of my life because I can easily think of a few, but if this day were different, I feel like the other days might not have happened.

Edit for the Pony!!! I forgot! I want a big black pony with shiny soft hair and a beautiful mane and tail and I can just brush her and brush her.

Best: The night I picked up BF from the airport and we sat in my parents backyard. I told him if he asked me to marry him right then and there I'd say yes and he replied with well good because I've been thinking about how I would do it. This was just 2 months in and it was fantastic to know we were both as crazy about each other as the other. Worst: The night my ex told me he didn't want to be with me anymore after us being engaged for a year. ( It worked out for the best though!) Pony: White and name her sugar pie :)

What was the best day of your life?
The day I got the call for my current job (fligth attendant in Dubai). I went through a grueling selection process which included traveling to LA twice, getting cut down from a group of 150 to 23 like it was American Idol, and the most intense 1 hour interview of my life. I waited 3 weeks later to get what the applicants refer to as The Golden Call and it was amazing!
What was the worst day of your life?
The day my dad died. I was only 19, and he was like Superman, never sick a day in his life. :(
Oh, and if you could have a pony...what color would it be and what would you name it?
It would be named Jinx of course and it would be glittery apple green with pink and purple hearts on its butt. :)

    Best day?
There have been so many I really can't pick just one. And I know there are a lot more to come as well. Some of the contenders are: The day I got accepted to my high school, both first graduations (and my upcoming one in THREE DAYS!), the day I asked BF back out, one of the days we spent in Disney. And last the first night we got to Vegas, and ran through the hotel to get to the strip and see all the lights.

    Worst Day?
Again there are a few, The most significant was my Nana passing away. The night before I was supposed to go look for a new car. I had been wanting a new car so badly and was really excited to go look. I got a call asking if I could go sit with my Nana because she was not doing well. I honestly didn't want to, but something inside me was telling me that I had to. All I could think was my mom's voice telling me "You will regret losing this time with them once they are gone" so I went over.

I sat with her for a hour. We don't know what was wrong but I think she had a UTI. She was going back in forth with the bed and urinal and in so much pain. I was in tears because I couldn't get her to be comfortable and she was getting aggravated. My uncle came to relieve me and I went home. That night I got in a huge fight with my parents about finances and cars.

At 7 the next morning we got a phone call. My mom went running through the house in tears yelling that my uncle called and thinks my Nana passed. She went over to her house to check and told us she would call with the news. She never called. After an hour, I saw a cousin had put RIP Nana on facebook. I called my mom in tears because she never called back and she said that she didn't even remember telling us she would because she was so upset. She told us to come over.

As if all this wasn't enough, my uncle called my mom and family before calling the police, so they had to investigate. There was a cop outside of her bedroom and he almost didn't let me and my mom go in to see her. They also had to question my uncle and he was so upset thinking it was all his fault and he did something wrong. It was so heartbreaking the entire day. My Nana and I were very close, my first name is actually her maiden name. I miss her so much everyday.

I wanted to cry reading your worst day ever.  My grandmother is called Nana as well.   I am not used to hearing others use the term Nana so it always gets my attention when someone does.   People don't seem to get that FB has it's place and news like that is not for FB.   The day my late husband died my MIL didn't know how to make sure his best friends found out (didn't think I knew how to reach them) so she posted the news on FB.   So a few of his friends found out via FB.   That really shook them up bad.  I was able to reach the rest of the family before they got on FB.
