    1) Where would you go in the world if you could leave right now and money wasn't an issue? Why?
I should go with what first popped into my brain and that was Italy. I have already been there and my second choice would be Bora Bora. I really really want to go there some day when money really is no issue.

    2) What would your BF/FI/DH's answer be to #1? Why? His answer would be either Bora Bora or Hawaii. Probably more likely Hawaii. He really wants to go there. He definitely loves the beach.

    3) Favorite place you've ever travelled?
    Venice, Italy

    1) Where would you go in the world if you could leave right now and money wasn't an issue? Why?

Europe.  I would travel around and explore.  I've always wanted to go

    2) What would your BF/FI/DH's answer be to #1? Why?

We're the same on this one, actually. He wants to explore Europe.  He also has family in The Netherlands.

    3) Favorite place you've ever travelled?

    Cuba FTW!

    1) If I could pick up and leave right now, I'd probably go to Ireland.  I want to go there so badly. My ancestors were from Ireland (some of them anyway) and my grandmother was always watching shows about Ireland.  I got hooked at an early age, but my family was never able to swing a trip there.

    2) FI would probably choose Austraila or New Zealand.  I'd like to go there too, but it's not at the top of my list. He'd love to go hiking in the mountains of NZ, and he'd definitely be up for a LOTR tour.

    3) Tough call.  Japan I think nearly edges out the Galapagos, mostly because I got to spend more time there.  I'd love to go back and explore other islands though. Japan was definitely quite the culture shock for me, and it was the first place I ever travelled outside the U.S. It made me a lot more adventurous, and that's been a great thing!

    1. London, and then I'd take the train to Paris for a day trip.
    2. Ireland - he has always wanted to go.
    3. I'm ashamed to say that I have hardly traveled anywhere, but this will be changing soon. So I'll say DC is the top of my list right now.

    1) Where would you go in the world if you could leave right now and money wasn't an issue? Why?

Disney World. I'd take my dream trip there which includes staying at the Contemporary with a tower room that has a view of the Magic Kingdom (in RL I don't think I would ever be able to justify the cost of a room like that). Why is because I love it there. So many special things with my family have occurred there. It was the first vacation that my parents went on together, it was where my mom told my dad she was pregnant, and it was the first vacation that BF and I went on together as well.

    2) What would your BF/FI/DH's answer be to #1? Why?

That we're going next summer with my family and that's soon enough. lol

    3) Favorite place you've ever travelled?

Um, Disney World. lol Wuerzburg, Germany comes in a close second. :)

    1) Where would you go in the world if you could leave right now and money wasn't an issue? Why?

I'd go to Hawaii. I've been on a "I want a honeymoon!" kick, and that is where I'd go. I hear the weather is beautiful year-round, there's some interesting culture to be seen, and heck, I want to run around on beautiful beaches and see volcanoes! It just sounds like a different world.

    2) What would your BF/FI/DH's answer be to #1? Why?

He wouldn't have an answer. He'd be fine with Hawaii or most other places I'd pick, but he's never been ANYWHERE so he wouldn't really know where to want to go.

    3) Favorite place you've ever travelled?

I loved England, and found it to be almost more foreign than Mexico. That may be because of all the resorts where I stayed in Mexico. Anyway, England was probably a once-in-a-lifetime trip... and it was really amazing. I didn't even see London, though! lol

    1) Where would you go in the world if you could leave right now and money wasn't an issue? Why?

My type A personality has a detailed 90-day Euro trip (backpacking) planned- that hits Oktoberfest where I can enjoy festivities and visit family.  I need the money to go though, and therefore probably never will.  I would LOVE to see every destination I detailed on the trip.

    2) What would your BF/FI/DH's answer be to #1? Why?
Probably the same.  We have talked a lot about the trip and dream about it often.  He loves Europe.

    3) Favorite place you've ever travelled?
    Half Moon Cay.  Hands-down.

Jeana, Hawaii is AWESOME.  And you should definitely go.  I was lucky enough to go on a trip there for undergrad, and I got to walk right up to a lava flow.  I have a chunk of rock in my office that I pulled out of that lava flow.  It's my favorite rock I have, by far.

Plus, the weather IS always gorgeous.  I'm not a huge fan of Honolulu and Oahu (too touristy).  But I loved the Big Island (Kona, and Volcanoes National Park), and I really want to go to Maui and Kauai.  I've heard they're gorgeous!

    1) Where would you go in the world if you could leave right now and money wasn't an issue? Why?
Our next big trip is going to be a Mediterranean cruise... Spain, Portugal, Greece, etc. I just can't think of a more amazing way to experience the world

    2) What would your BF/FI/DH's answer be to #1? Why?

The same as above, we've talked about it and we're saving this trip for our honeymoon.  He is an architecture student in his spare time and I think this wouldbe the ultimate gift for him

    3) Favorite place you've ever travelled?
Italy - so beautiful in so many ways! I can't wait to go back

    1) Where would you go in the world if you could leave right now and money wasn't an issue? Why?
Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.  I'm dying to go to Asia again!  I've always wanted to see these places, and I think they're the perfect mix of culture, adventure, and relaxation, not to mention fantastic food!

    2) What would your BF/FI/DH's answer be to #1? Why?

African safari.  It's one of his big dreams, and we're both very interested in going.  It's just not my top choice, but definitely top 5.

    3) Favorite place you've ever travelled?
The most amazing place was China, but I must say the best trip of my life was to Costa Rica.

    Me too!

    1) This morning I'm in the mood for tropics, maybe St Thomas because it's familiar and comfortable and I have a sinus infection that would clear right up in that topical air!  I'd walk right over to Iggies and have me a Dark and Stormy and life would be fantastic!

    2) DH is DYING to go to Australia, but I know he'd go to St Thomas again in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose!

    3) Morocco and Zimbabwe tie.  Morocco was totally unique, my dad was consulting on water resources for the new ruler (king?) so we traveled all over the country and spent a lot of time in rural areas.  As a kid, it was such a fantastic adventure!  We played Uno with village kids a lot, since most of them speak a little French and dad taught us the colors and numbers.  Zimbabwe was a true adventure, from getting held at the boarder by 13 year olds with machine guns to getting charged by elephants.  We backpacked through the middle of nowhere, went into a village that had seen white people once before, tracked leopards and poachers, and generally had a blast!

    1.  Bora Bora.  I want to stay in one of those over-water bungalows.  It looks so beautiful, but i'm too sure if there's anything to do there other than just lay out (which i'm not big on..i'm more of an adventure-type person) I'd also like to go to Belize and Australia. We are looking at doing another trip to Hawaii at the end of the year too, we want to to the manta night dive on the Big Island.

    2.  probably the same. we are pretty much on the same page with travel plans.  although i would like to go see europe sooner than he would since he lived in germany for 4 years and has lots of family in france (his grandma is french).

    3.  i haven't been too many places (yet) but we went to hawaii last year (oahu and maui) and just went to puerto rico this may.  they were both great, although we'll probably go back to hawaii more than PR.

    1.  I'd go to India.  One of my majors in college was religion and I took a class on Hinduism in America.  It's a fascinating religion.  I'd like to go to India, play with an elephant or two and go to the Hindu temples and be all-around zen.

Backpacking through Europe would be a close second.

    2.  I think BF would probably say Europe.  He's never been and it's probably going to be our next vacation.  I think everyone should go to Europe several times in their life.

    3.  I went to Italy in the beginning of college and it was amazing.  My brother lived in Italy for over 2 years, so I went to visit him.  He speaks fluent Italian, so I had a translator.  We went to Rome, Florence, and Bologna; I've never seen so much beauty so close together.

Portugal comes in second.  It's a beautiful country and I speak fluent Portuguese, but because I associate going to Portugal with visiting my grandparents, I've come to think of Portugal as the land of the old people.
