Hi girls!  Happy Thursday! 
Tomorrow FI and I are going registering!  WHOOT!  I am super excited!  However, I have a small picture of what I need to register for.  We have never living on our own so basically we have almost nothing. Help?  I know what I need in the kitchen but I kind of get a little lost after that.   I want to make sure we get stuff we really need because we are going to be living in a small apartment.  So tell me:
1. 3 Must haves for the bedroom.
2. 3 must haves for the bathroom
3. 3 must haves for the living room
4. 3 must haves for the dinning room
5. 3 must have decorations (art, wall hangings ect)
6. 3 must haves for the kitchen
7. Anything else you think I might need.

You guys are awesome!

I'm bad at most of this because we were lucky enough to receive all of my parents' extraneous furniture from them downsizing. Basically what we need are things for remodeling and, well, a bed. A bed would be really cool. I haven't slept on anything but a mattress and boxsprings for two years now.

That said, in the kitchen, I love my KitchenAid, Zojirushi rice cooker and crockpot. I can't think of anything for the other rooms...

I do have a bed.  A queen and a couch and two book shelves (you see where my priorites are)  I also have a  crockpot and I did plan on getting a kitchenaid.

Basing my list on the fact you've never lived on your own these will be basics.

1. Bedroom.- atleast 2 full sets of sheets, pillows, good duvet
2. Bathroom - shower curtain, washable towel bath mat (although not the prettiest, the best to keep clean), a couple full sets of towels (be sure to include bath sheets) 
3. Living room - an extra blanket for chilly days, coasters, lamps
4. Dining room - wine glasses, cheese knife set, serving dishes
5. Decorations (art, wall hangings ect) - framed stuff for the walls, a rug, nice glassware like a vase
6. Kitchen - good set of pots, good frying pan, set of casserole or bakeware
7. Anything else you think I might need. - We do seasonal and time showers in my family, think through stuff that you use in different seasons and different times of day it'll be really helpful and catch a lot of different random things.

We inherited nightstands, five bookcases, two desks, a sectional couch, a coffee table, a LoveSac, a kitchen table, a moon chair, an armchair, six lamps, a French door refrigerator, a washer/dryer, a full set of dishes/silverware, a set of Calphelon pans, et cetera. It was crazy D:.

I might be crazy, but do people register for the big stuff? They don't in my family, so maybe I have no clue how to do things.

Umm, well I don't think I can fill out that list fully, but here are a couple things.

-A good vacuum

-Candles (they're pretty and useful when you have power outages)

-Cleaning supplies

-Tools (When I moved out of my parents house my dad bought me a nice basic set of tools, it has been super helpful)

One really nice sheet set/comforter set and a second extra one, two cute matching lamps, random wall art or else a nice alarm clock.

2. 3 must haves for the bathroom
A bunch of nice towels, a rug, and a toothbrush holder.

Decorative pillows, more lamps, a nice coaster set.

4. 3 must haves for the dinning room
Fork/spoon set, nice serving plate for company, and I LOVE lazy suzans (those things you put in the middle of the table and turn- pretty wooden one), and maybe cute s&p shakers.

5. 3 must have decorations (art, wall hangings ect)
Hanging clock, pretty lamps (more), maybe a nice wall hanging painting.

6. 3 must haves for the kitchen
Kitchenaide mixer!, pots and pans, and random kitchen things (scan a bunch of cheap spatulas and serving spoons and graters and things like that for people to buy).

7. Anything else you think I might need.

Nice Sheet sets are expensive. Also- go ahead and register for a comforter and blankets. 

 2. 3 must haves for the bathroom
Pick out a bathroom set and register for the items- trash can, shower curtain, ect.- maybe even a matching piece of art. Bath towels are also expensive! (bought some yesterday).

 3. 3 must haves for the living room
I'd like a nice bowl to put decorative things in. A vase! 

 4. 3 must haves for the dinning room
Place settings are a given- Also register for table cloths and placemats. A nice wooden salad bowl.

 5. 3 must have decorations (art, wall hangings ect)
Possibly window coverings (if you know where you are moving), a coat hanger, a nice mirror.

 6. 3 must haves for the kitchen
We have a beautiful set of glass mixing bowls. I'd also register for some nice pyrex lasagna pans/casseroles. Register for some nice knives. Goof knives are essential.

 7. Anything else you think I might need.
Has anyone else said a nice iron? An iron is good. Don't be afraid to reigster for some nice luggage.

I was totally gonna recommend the Bed, Bath, & Beyond list, Lunar!

I recommend registering for serving dishes in your chosen pattern, because they're deceptively expensive.

Also, I really recommend getting some kind of jewelry case/chest.
