Sick with the Flu

I've been sick all week with the flu (influenza b to be exact). K is driving up this evening to visit for the weekend and my house is a disaster. I know I should be cleaning, but I can't get my butt out of bed. Even the other side of the bed is filled with stuff. I also have lesson plans to work on and article draft that is due. I hate getting sick during the first week of class!

What is everyone else up to this evening? Anyone else around?

I'm here! I'm having a date night with myself, but I'm still going to be on the computer for quite sometime. 

Being sick is sucky! I hope you at least start to feel better.

Everyone at my office is sick and I am freaking out because I don't want to get whatever they have!  Sorry you're sick.

Yeah, this flu is no fun!

I'm currently sitting here watching Revenge of the Bridesmaids on Netflix. It is one of those made for tv movies (probably Lifetime for ABC Family) that is very cliche. I love these types of cheesy movies!

I hope you feel better. Eat lots of soup! I don't think it really helps you get over an illness, but it sure is tasty and the hot liquid is soothing on a scratchy throat.

I'm here for now until this half an hour of work is done. Not sure what I'm doing after though.

I'm having a date with myself tonight too! BF is in Colorado because of school and all of my friends are out of town because of school too, and I am way to poor to go visit any of them. Sometimes it's just realzing having the house to yourself.
