You guys realize there are like a hundred ways to screw up hormonal BC, right? I mean, they're only effective 99% of the time when you take them within the same one hour window every day, and never miss a pill or double up. With "typical use" the pill is effective like 90% of the time. By the time someone on the poll figures out they're pregnant, it's way too late for plan b. I agree that the most responsible thing to do is use back-up unless you have accepted that pregnancy is a possibility and it wouldn't totally ruin your life, but I think it's a huge stretch to assume a majority of unplanned pregnancies are sneaky plans by devious women. Most unplanned pregnancies I'm aware of among my friends are the result of attempted contraception of one form or another not working.
