I'm not very PC and I find this to be insensitive. I don't care enough to get pissy about it but ummmmm.... look in the mirror the next time you find someone else's comments offensive.

Actually, I grew up with a physical disability. My best friend is in a wheelchair. I went to a school where a majority of the kids had mental handicaps, and many of them were the sweetest people you could ever hope to meet.

For the record, it is not okay to say that you do not like what has become of a message board but it IS okay to post pictures of a child with down's syndrome as part of a joke.  Good to know.

I can see this is going to be exhausting. Wasn't making fun of people with disabilities--as I said before, I know people and am in fact someone with them--i was making a point about how serious a MESSAGE BOARD has gotten.

I'm pretty short. So it's ok if I make fun of people with dwarfism? Interesting policies you've got there. As long as you call them "sweet" after, you can make fun of anyone you want. Interesting.

Not pertaining to people with disabilities, but anyone here who claims to be "offended" or act like a patron saint is a freaking hypocrite. Sit there and try to tell me you have never laughed or made fun of someone else's misfortune--whatever it is.

I think what GPB was trying to get across (even if you don't agree with how she did it and I am special education teacher) is that everyone just needs to SHUT THE HELL UP!!

FFS. We're on a public board and people are going to do whatever they want to do. Everyone is going to have their own thoughts and opinions and feelings and whateverthefuckelse they want to have.

This is the quite possibly the dumbest reason to be arguing ever created. I don't even want to be around this board anymore and I'm a "New-ish reg". I, like Loopy, have had my fill of it.

My opinion does not matter more than anyone else's does but I just had to say that.
