Birth Control, an accident, and possibly TMI

I recently started the Nuva Ring after being off of it for a year to get a better handle on my heavily irregular periods. The beginning of my cycle was July 6th, and I put it in on July 13th. Today, at the worse possible time, the condom broke, and he ejaculated in me. One is supposed to wear it for seven days before unprotected sex is considered the most baby-proof, but day seven doesn't occur until Sunday, the 19th. I tried to call my OB/GYN as soon as it happened, but fifteen minutes before close = left. The rather "nice" nurse heard what I had to say, stated the doctor had left, it wasn't an emergency, and hung up on me. I know birth control plus emergency contrapection is bad mojo - too many hormones at once -  so I am stuck somewhat worrying until Monday. And here I thought I was being extra safe with birth control AND condoms, lol.So, my question is: is there a doctor in the house? :P Kidding aside, has anyone had an accident like this before, and what did your gyno advise? Should I worry?

if it ever happens again that you can't get a morning after pill, you can take a large dose of BC pills. i know you're on the ring, but if you had an extra pack of pills laying around you could have used that. you take 2-4 pills (depending on your brand) and then 12 hours later, take 2-4 more. it is the same thing as taking the morning after pill. just an fyi :)
