FIRST TIME POSTING!!!

Hello everyone I've been browsing this blog for a while & I've finally decided to post. I'm not engaged yet (of course) but my BF & I have picked out my ring @ Helzberg in January & he's very close to paying it off! I'm so excited for him to propose & to start planning. We talk about weddings once in a while & we've put together a few ideas so far, no serious planning tho. Like for example, I know we want to have a destination wedding (so i guess when he proposes I'll be relocating to that board :). I love reading your posts & all the wonderful advice that's offered. Looking forward to putting up my engagement story here (with pics) and asking questions as well as offering my opinions!

    I like to give posters the benefit of the doubt, so I'm not going to rail on you, but just be forewarned that your post sounds very wedding-centric instead of marriage-centric, and there are quite a few people on here that will give you a tough time if they feel you think the wedding is more important than the marriage.GL, and welcome to the boards!

    TTC since 10/2010. 2012: HSG showed unicornuate uterus on right side; both kidneys and both ovaries present. High risk for preterm labor, IUGR, and C-Section. Dx'd Hypothyroidism.
    1st BFP: 10/27/12, cycle before we had planned to see RE

    Thanks for the advice! I can assure you that our number one priority is to get married & start living out the rest of our lives as Mr. & Mrs. & hopefully start a family a few years after that! The "wedding" is just a way for us to join our families together to celebrate our love since my family is mostly in NC & the Virgin Islands & his family is mostly here in NJ & in VA. We've been together for almost 3 years (September 19 makes our 3rd year anniversary) & while we've had our ups & downs like any other relationship, we feel like we've found our soulmates & that's why we're taking our relationship to the next level. :)

    Thanks ladies! Well right now i'm a senior in college, Rutgers U, majoring in Psychology & minoring in Spanish. After I graduate I'm planning to take the year off to work and save up money for Radiology school & for our wedding. After we get married we hope to start saving up to buy our first home! Also, we would like to get another ferret for our 2year old Samus :)

    17- graduated high school & started college18- Sophomore19-Junior20-going into senior yearIf she worked her tail off and took extra/summer classes, it's entirely possible. I wouldn't want to do it myself (hence being 26 and a junior lol) but it's doable.

    Will your other ferret's name be "Aran" by any chance?That sig pic is pretty obnoxious. I don't really like the "blingee" stuff. It's like OMG THIS PICTURE IS ALIIIIIIIIVE!O_o

    Eh, it doesn't bother me that much.  I'm good at ignoring things unless they crash my computer or are so large it takes two flicks of the scrolling wheel to get through them.But word of advice, if you have that sig pic, don't post on P&E.  They will rip you a new one for it.

    hey jfgrad06, i'm turning 21 on Aug 19 so that would make me a 21 year old senior. Sorry for the misunderstanding; I am taking summer classes btw. thanks for the honesty noelle24...hope to find a similarly funny &/or personal pic or else i'll just put up the old pic w/o all the glitz. Jeana i really don't know wat we would name the other ferret...knowing my BF's video game taste...something in the range of "Pitt" or "Ike" & if we get a girl again "Princess Peach".
