One of our sales guys was just on the phone with a customer explaining the back up battery on a piece of equipment we sell when he dropped this little gem: "The life of the battery is 48 hours, so you have....uh...like almost 2 days of back up."Is it weekend yet?

    I always wonder how people like that get jobs. Are the people that interview even dumber or do these people have a moment of clarity during the interview that makes them seem smarter?

    Now that changes things...I would not work for them any longer than I had to. I hate family businesses, there's always so much favoritism and I can't handle it.

    Yeah, it's pretty crazy. The biggest plus about the job is that it's pretty damn secure. As long as his 3 kids work there and they don't want to work they need the rest of us to keep the place going.
