I just saw your signature. It made me lol.Speaking of $3 bottles of wine, I should go get one. The FI tries to bring home fancier stuff... the other day he bought mudslide mix. I like mudslides just fine... but nothing helps me unwind like a cheap bottle of wine.OOH! I could make a song out of that.

Ok, so I know I'm not button, BUT, I love your song. It made my night! She's been working on that $3 bottle of wine for a long time now though...I hope she's onto a new one by now! *thinks...maybe I'll go out and buy myself some bad wine tomorrow, drink it, then sing your song...it's been a long week*

No don't do it!  Cheap wine gives me the worst headaches!Hell even this $15 bottle of pinot is probably going to give me a headache.

Charles Shaw is the best...I also like $3 bottles of champagne.

The champagne I like is actually $13. Martini & Rossi or something like that. I dunno.But my favorite wine is Wild Vines blackberry wine. You can get it at Wal-Mart. Yay Wal-Mart liquor section!

I think if I told BF's best friend I wasa internet friends with a bunch of girls that prefer cheap wine, he'd think you were all nutso.  But he's a wine snob (runs a wine/cigar store in my town), so his opinion doesn't always count.Though he does choose great wines, and on my days off (rare), he'll take me to wine tastings and it's fabulous.

I like to say that my affinity for cheap (refrigerated) wine comes from being raised in West Virginia.I always thought I was a couple steps above the other redneck girls... and I'm sure I must be. After all, my wine, while refrigerated and screw-top (as opposed to having a cork), at least comes in a bottle and not a box. :DIt's my one very tacky quality. I'm proud of it too!

I used a mini-box (it's like 3 glasses) of wine the other night to make risotto.  BF and I don't drink white wine and didn't want to buy a whole bottle just for one meal.  So we bought that and used it.  It was a tiny box, WITH a screw top.  BF's aforementioned friend was horrified, but the risotto came out ok.

Wild Vines Strawberry is where it's at. Yep, I said it. While I have never bought wine in a box, my Mom has been known to do so on occasion. We're classy. And from the sticks. Although I truly do not consider myself a red neck.

Glad I could bring the LOLs and not sure how I missed this thread. I'm actually really allergic to wine but after the past couple of weeks I've had and the way things have been going around here it seemed mighty tempting.
