We are having our ceremony at the same place as the reception. I thought it would be fine until I saw how another couple had the ceremony set up. After using up the banquet chairs for the reception, all that is left is beige metal folding chairs. The venue is rustic, but I thought it just looked trashy! Furthermore, it only fit about 100 people. Our guest list is about 300!!
I really don't want to tell some people that they are invited to the reception but not the ceremony just because there isn't enough room. Does anyone have any alternative seating ideas that would be prettier and maximize our seating? Moving it outside probably won't be an option, as it's a late-April wedding in WI (it could be warm and nice, raining, snowing...)
