I work 40 hours a week at least (sometimes more depending on the situation).

    Is your schedule flexible?
Yes. You can show up between 8:30 am and 9:30 am. The earliest you can leave is 4:30 pm as long as you have at least 8 hours.

Do they care about your other committments (school, family, etc.) :
I am sure they would if I had anything. I am currently single and not going to school.

    What is your position title:
    Mechanical Engineer

What type of place do you work (office, Dr's office, warehouse) :
    Office.

If you have your degree, are you using it in your current position:
Not directly. I graduated with Nuclear Engineering, but work mostly as a Mechanical Engineering, even though I do work that involves Nuclear Engineering sometimes.

How many hours per week do you work? 33

Is your schedule flexible? it  is set every semester depending on my classes

Do they care about your other committments (school, family, etc.) : they are willing to reset my availability every semester and summer session. they will also give extra hours over xmas break etc when i dont have school. they will also work with my schedule when my finals are scheduled for times/days other than my normal school schedule

What is your position title: sales associate

What type of place do you work (office, Dr's office, warehouse) :retail

If you have your degree, are you using it in your current position: i have my AAS but it doesnt do much other than get me a tiny bit more $

Do you "juggle" other commitments (kids, husband, night classes, etc.) : I take 17 credits of classes. my degree requires a certain amount of volunteer work each semester at a social work related organization. right now i have to do 40

Do you find it stressful to work and go to school: yes every minute needs to be planned out to get everything done. most classes (assignments, outside work etc) are set up for students w/o jobs commitments who can spend lots of time in the library, various labs (writing, math, computer) and have plenty of time to get large projects done. having no free time to relax and rejuvenate wears you down. not getting enough sleep is not good for your health.

What classes do you have this semester: Social work interviewing, social work research methods, New Religious Movements (cults), and American Indian Studies.
Least and Most Favorite class: Least favorite ever: "Mind, Body, Spirit Wellness". It was the stupidest class ever and i had to drop it because the professor wouldn't let anyone pass. She is fired now, thank God.  Favorite: The interviewing class I'm in right now. It's practicing to be a social worker, and I love it.

What is a typical school schedule like for you (no Fridays, MW night, etc.) : I do not have class Fridays, and I have a night class Tuesdays. Otherwise it's all during the day.

What is your major? Social Work
What year are you? A junior

If you work (or go to school AND work) :
How many hours per week do you work? 37 (8am - 4pm less 30 min lunch)
Is your schedule flexible?  it's a set schedule, but my boss is very flexible if I need to leave early or something
Do they care about your other committments (school, family, etc.) : yes, my boss is very understanding
What is your position title: Office Manager
What type of place do you work (office, Dr's office, warehouse) :  office
If you have your degree, are you using it in your current position: Nope, my degree is in real estate development...since that's obviously a booming industry right now.  LOL.
Do you "juggle" other commitments (kids, husband, night classes, etc.) :  Not really.  It's actually nice for a change.  When I was in college, I usually took 18 credit hours and worked.  It's nice to finally come home from work and have nothing else to do.
Do you find it stressful to work and go to school:

I don't know how to answer this question. I'm in grad school, but I haven't taken a class in over a year. I just work in the lab on my thesis research. . . which I refer to as "work" not "school" but it is school. So yay! I'm weird.

If you work (or go to school AND work) :
How many hours per week do you work?
I'm salaried. I'm in the office approximately 40 hours per week, but I don't track it.

    Is your schedule flexible?
Yes. My schedule is largely dictated by meetings, and I have the option to work from home.

Do they care about your other committments (school, family, etc.) :
I don't know if they necessarily care, but it is certainly flexible. For example, I have a dentist appointment tomorrow morning and will be in late. Not a big deal.

    What is your position title:
    Product Manager

What type of place do you work (office, Dr's office, warehouse) :
    office

If you have your degree, are you using it in your current position:
Sort of. I doubt I could get my job without a bachelor's degree, but my communication degree does not directly apply.

Do you "juggle" other commitments (kids, husband, night classes, etc.) :
A little with family (parents & fiance). I have taken classes while working, but I'm not currently doing so.

Do you find it stressful to work and go to school:
When I did take classes while working full time, it was only one or two classes at a time. I don't think it added much stress. The stress level at work is not constant--it varies greatly with what's going on.
