Glee (Spoiler Alert)

Awwww... I liked both original songs at regionals. But, I was a little confused. First they were writing the songs and suddenly they are at Regionals?

Oh, and I was so happy about Kurt and Blaine.

One thing that annoys me about this show is that all the teams cheer on all the other teams. Personally, every competitive sport/activity I was in, not once did the other teams get up and cheer for anyone else. I know it's just a show, but it is a pet peeve of mine.

Haha! Well, I think the Glee creative staff has made it clear that reality is just a random, fuzzy concept in their world. And that's okay. :)

I was happy about Kurt and Blaine, too! Wow! I did find myself going, uhhh, what up with trying to do a duet between two men and win a competition with it? I'm sure IRL that they'd know that was a little risky for a high school show choir competition, if your objective is to win and move on to the next round. Oh well--like I said, reality has no place here!

It's really cool that they did original songs. Love that they're encouraging that! And I like that Rachel and Finn are TOTALLY in love, even though Finn is with Quinn.

Loved the Kathy Griffin cameo, too. :)

I haven't seen it yet, but I don't mind spoilers.

I do like that they cheer each other on. I did competitive theater for awhile (I know, my uber-dork is showing) and we'd participate in Shakespeare competitions. I always cheered on others - I think it's different in the artistic world because you appreciate the other's talent. Obviously you're rooting for your own team the most, but you still cheer and are happy for others.

And at Model UN (okay, I know, I gotta keep that uber-dork in the closet), we'd go watch and root for students from our 'sister schools' (the group of private schools in my area), even though they were competing against us for awards. It's about good sportsmanship, which is something I think is skipped far too often with teams now-a-days.

I was in Model UN too! I was so uber-dork, I helped petition our school to start a club. Then, I became a Vice President for the state wide Model UN. LOL!

One word: mathlete. Yes, I was a mathlete. I once won a competition for balancing chemical equations. I miss those days. Now I have to go out and run half marathons and do triathlons that I have no CHANCE of winning. :)

ETA: I was happy for Kurt, and thought the 'Loser Like Me' song was fantastic. Take that Sue Sylvester!!

There was a very loud cheer in my living room when Kurt and Blaine kissed! FINALLY!

The best part of the episode for me was the song "Candles". I was so excited! Hey Monday is one of my favorite bands (punk rock with a girl lead singer - totally awesome and I recommend them). They opened for another favorite band of mine (The Academy Is...) three years ago and had never heard of them. They walk out on stage and they've got this little teenaged girl with them. She was probably no taller than me (5' at the most) and weighed maybe 100 pounds with a wet tshirt on. Then she grabbed the mic, opened her mouth and let go! My friends and I were floored that such a powerful rock voice could come out of that tiny girl! I bought their CD at the show and I actually just had to replace it because I played it so much it wore out!

I was also annoyed about the C&D letter from My Chemical Romance. They're another favorite band of mine (seeing them in concert 5/8). The band hasn't had a drummer for like 3 years (they kicked him out), so the part about Sue knowing their drummer from a drum circle kind of made me wince.

    /end music geek rant

Anyway ... great episode! Loved Sue punching out the regionals announcer. Loved Loretta Divine and Kathy Griffin. Loved the original songs (Trouty Mouth anyone?). Especially Puck's love letter to Lauren. I was on the floor laughing.

Haha. Trouty Mouth. WTF. I missed Puck's love letter to Lauren! So mad! My TV froze during that part.

OMG. It was the funniest part of the whole episode, pretty much. Basically the song was about how the reason why his baby is so big is because she's got a "big-ass heart". I rotfl-ed.

I just watched it (had it on DVR). Loved it. I'm so happy that Kurt has someone now.

Oh, and Darren Criss doing Maroon 5 at the very beginning... swoon...

I totally screamed for a good minute or two when they finally kissed! I was so shocked and excited. I am very proud that TV showed it :)

The whole episode was great. Quinn and Finn make me mad. I dont really like them together, but it's a show what can I do.
