Do you talk in your sleep?

Funny story. So according to BF (and my ex before him) I frequently talk in my sleep. It's weird because I have NO recollection of the things I say or any dreams related to what I supposedly said.

Anyway this morning, BF and I wake up and he says, "you told me what you're getting me for Christmas in your sleep last night"
my first reaction was "NO! What did I say?!" (I really don't want to spoil his gifts especially when I'm not even aware of it!)
Apparently it went like this:
me: "*mumble mumble* I'm getting you a skull for Christmas"
him: "oh really?"
me: "nevermind."

He's not sure if I said skull or coal, but either way both are far from what I got him hahah.

Does anyone else talk in their sleep?
Sent from my iPad - any unusual words or misspellings are due to an autocorrect incident that I may have missed.

I could get FI a skull as a legitimate present.  A lot of med school students have them for study purposes, and apparently the school doesn't have enough for him to check one out often enough, so he wants his own.  *shudder*

Back on topic, I talk in my sleep sometimes, but it's usually just a word or two that, in my dream, I'm shouting.  FI talks in his sleep all the time.  Whole conversations that make no sense and don't stick in his memory at all.

I talk in my sleep, a lot.  Usually BF thinks it's funny, at least.  My son talks in his sleep too.  We both have walked in our sleep.  Apparently it's hereditary?!

I've been told I talk/mumble in my sleep, but that it's not entirely complete words/sentences. I once dated a guy, though, who talked at a normal speaking volume in his sleep... would scare the hell out of me, lol. And 9 times out of 10, it made sense and I was certain he was awake, because he almost always sat up and turned over or made some kind of movement that made it seem like he was awake. We even had one conversation that was like this:

    Him: -insert random sentence here-
Me: -ignores because I think he's just talking in his sleep again-
Him: -waits a few seconds- Cecilia...
Me: Oh, sorry, I thought you were talking in your sleep again. What is is?
    Him :-snooooooooore- zzzzzz

I don't, but my college roommate used to. She would sit up in bed with her eyes open, it was super creepy. I couldn't tell half the time if she was asleep or awake.

FI's mom said he used to sleepwalk A LOT growing up. I hope our kids don't!

I'm not sure if I do, but my BF sure does! He says some pretty weird/hilarious stuff sometimes, but not as funny as this guy:

Fi will actually have conversations with you. There's been times when he's sat up with his eyes open and actually replied. We've had a few arguments because he said hed do something and didn't but never remembers the conversation. He talks about work a lot and have this obnoxious laugh when he's asleep.

FI's former roommate did allllll the time.  I've never experienced it for myself, but here's the most awesome thing he's ever said.

*sits up*  Enjoy your pageantry!  *falls back against the pillow snoring*

This is totally not the kind of guy who uses words like that when he's AWAKE, and he even had a little bit of an English accent going when he said it, or so I hear. lol.

I do talk in my sleep.  I actually sing in my sleep sometimes too.

BF doesn't. I, on the other hand, have whole conversations with him in my sleep that I don't remember the next morning. I've done everything from scream at him to profess my eternal love to responding to anything he says with absolute gibberish.

Anyway, he finds it endlessly entertaining and doesn't hold anything against me after I go to bed. Luckily, I've only yelled at him once. xD
