Holy PMS!

I need a punching bag. One day out of every month begins with anything and everything getting under my skin. First my clean pants get drywall dust on them, then I can't find my shoes and yadda yadda yadda.  This stuff normally doesn't bother me but my lady hormones are at record high levels today.  Ugh!

Fix it with brownies and kittens!  I experience the same thing with my PMS, I hope your day gets better!

I have seriously considered talking to my OB/GYN about my experience with this as I think I might have PMDD.  Maybe that's  your case too.  I am in NO way a doctor but from what I've researched, mine anyway, goes a little beyond PMS and it's only a day or two a month.  I hate it, too.  I agree with PP on the brownies though, I'm a puppy person over kittens but hope it goes away soon and sorry about the dust and shoes...grrrrr

This is one day a month for me and I know it as soon as I wake up. I get up and as soon as I start getting ready I get mad at everything very easily.  Sometimes things even get thrown across the room (a few months ago I burnt the last bagel in the bag and threw it across the room).  It usually goes away by the time I get to work, but I'm usually left with a little bit of residual grumpiness.

All of this talk about brownies makes me want to stop at the bakery down the street from my work on my lunch break...

Yep.  Goes the same way for me too.  I woke up one morning about to cry because a friend didn't wake me up.  My OBGYN ended up changing my BC after that.  It was ugly...

lol.. i've been lucky i really don't get pms. as my bf says THANK GOD! but i hope the day gets better for you Cool

I'm in the same boat. I didn't used to have terrible witchy pms symptoms, but it seems like it comes like clockwork when i'm on bc.

andplusalso..pretty sure i'm quitting the pill next month. I wanna drop a few lbs, and every time i quit taking bc i shed around 10 in about a month. and they say it doesn't cause weight gain.

I am PMS crazier than normal because I forgot to back to get more NuvaRings.  BF needs to stay far away from me today!!  For safety reasons and no NuvaRing reasons.. LOL

Seriously, Nuva Ring is the best birth control ever.  I am in LOVE with it! It really helps with the mood and crampy stuff.

If you think that you have PMDD, there is no cure which is super poopy.  One thing that really helps is to take calcium magnesium supplements, one in the morning and one at night.

HAHAHAHA, Sparrow, love the cartoon. That's exactly how I feel when I get it bad.

Sorry your lady hormones are kicking you in the a$$, Tonk. If it helps, I changed BC and my hormones are WAYYYY better. I told the doc prescribing it that my pills were making me nuts, and she gave me better ones. Wahoo!

I totally feel you on this one. My OBGYN put me on yaz because my PMS turned out to be PDD. It makes me feel like a totally out of control crazy person when I'm not on the BC, which I haven't for a while. But somehow when I'm around BF, his meer presence makes me feel sane. Euforia cancels out PMDD! But with moving in THIS WEEK! the BF is pressing for me to get back on the BC. I agree...I know he's right...back up is good. Plus the not crazy is helpful.

Abigail, I was told by the doc that the pill doesn't actually cause weight gain, it causes extra hunger, which causes the weight gain. Don't know if it's really true, but that's what she said...(giggle...love that's what she said game...giggle)
