I wanted to post a very heartfelt thank you to all of you ladies for your love and support this week. Wednesday was beautiful and heartbreaking all wrapped into one. I spent very precious moments with my girl, Slowy. Laying down with her, talking and singing to her, dancing in the back yard with her. And then we went to the vet and I sang her to sleep. This was our song, and I played it for her on my phone and sang it softly into her ear as she fell asleep in my arms for the last time.

Thursday night I arrived home from Chrismakah dinner at dad's to find a package on my doorstep from Ely. Inside was the most touching little note and this:
She took a photo that I had taken of Slowy last week, and had it turned into a beautiful keepsake ornament for us. I was so so very touched at the thought you put into this, Ely. Even as I write this, I am in tears and overwhelmed at the outpouring of love from all of you lovely ladies.
Thank you again, so much for everything this week. The thoughts, prayers, love and kindness. I don't know that I could ever repay it.
