GAHHH It's been foreverrrr.

Hey, all. This is my first time back posting in what feels like YEARS... With everything that's been going on lately- graduation, work, etc., I haven't had any time at all to just chill out and sit online! Now that I finally have a day off, I'm back... I  MISSED YOU!

Updates on wedding stuff:

1) Uh... there are none. Well, almost none. FI and I haven't had any time to do ANYTHING in regards to making plans, but we DID decide what we want to do.

We're having a super small ceremony- keeping it down to 50 people or so, and most likely just family members. We also made a somewhat radical decision to NOT have a wedding party. No bridesmaids, no groomsmen. Just me, FI, and a pastor. We're having it in a park either here in Green Bay, or, depending on FI's very recent job opportunity that popped up, La Crosse, Wisconsin. Both places we have in mind are gorgeous and perfect for us:

Pamperin Park

One part of Riverside Park

Aaaand another part of Riverside Park

We also decided on our attire- sort of. We're nixing the wedding gown/tuxedo idea and going with a cocktail dress/suit thing.

As for the reception... I... dunno. At this rate, we're just going to McDonalds post ceremony. Haha.

Lovely potential locations...and congrats on graduating.

I dream of a small ceremony, sans wedding party. But I know my BF and family would never make peace with it so in the long-run it wouldn't be worth it. When is it going to be?

Congrats on the graduation yay ! Those places look beautiful so good luck on whatever you decide ! As for the wedding stuff - you need to do what you feel comfotrable with and happy doing - I don't think there is a right or wrong way just go with it. Best of luck :)

Well, we originally wanted it in September of 2011, but now that we've drastically overhauled what we want so it fits what WE want and not what our parents want, we can basically do it whenever we want. I guess once we figure out what's going on with FI's job, we can set our date officially, but for now, we can't say anything for sure.

It had been so long! Another user that was Chickadee was on E asking how to let people know the wedding was cancelled, so I was concerned. It seems all is well, and congrats!
