Re: Rec your face wash, moisturizer, or facial care products

  • I feel like I'm the only person who washes my face only once a day :x. I just rub my face with a soft cloth in the morning to wipe off any extra oil. I also don't wear anything makeup-wise on my face, so that might be a reason for the rare cleaning.

<div>I only wash once a day, at night before bed. I wear a nearly full face of make-up so I remove all that crap before going to sleep and then just rinse my face in the morning.</div>

Nope!  You're not the only one.  :)  I sometimes use a toner in the morning if my face is a little oily.  I rarely wash in the mornings.

  • You guys are so awesome. Thanks for all the recs. I'm going to hit up wal mart today and see what I can find.

Katniss, I used to use BP all the time when I was a teen. It was the only thing that worked for me. I'm nervous to try something so harsh because my skin has changed so much and it is really sensitive.

Still, I think my skin is about as sensitive as yours! I have to wash mine in the morning because I sweat a lot at night and I wake up feeling all sticky and gross.

Tyler insists on keeping the house like fuckin' 40 at night, so I don't sweat despite the sheet, three blankets and down comforter :|.

[QUOTE]So, my skin is finally ready to leave puberty and the teenager facewashes I've been using are drying the hell out of my face. I used to have really problematic skin that was like an oil slick all the time, but now I'm like a real adult and all, it's not as oily and my break outs are fewer and far between. I've been using Neutrogena products for the last two years, the scrubs in particular. I like how they get the dead skin off. My skin feels really tight and dry for a couple hours after I use it, and I really don't like that. I wash my face three times a day, once in the morning, once before working out (with an all natural make up remover/cleanser) and then after I work out in the evening.  I tend to break out on my jaw line and my cheeks more than anywhere else and I'm constantly pimply there. I also use my facewash on my chest as it is constantly broken out. I don't really know what to do to clear up my skin and make it look healthier and less like a 14 yr old. Suggestions?

</div><div>Hello,</div><div>     I saw this posting and I break out in my T zone and all over my chin when I'm stressed out...which is all the time lately. I've tried a lot of things and recently switched over to Mary Kay. My friend, Sadie, swears by it and has been using it for years. I haven't been using it very long, so I won't try to tell you it's the best, because I simply don't know yet. I know what Sadie has to say, so I figured I'd try it as well. </div><div>     They have the TimeWise set, which is what I'm using. They have it available in Normal/Dry and Combination/Oily. I am currently using the Combination/Oily. The entire set comes with a cleanser, moisturizer, day solution and night solution. There are other things you can add-on if you have other problems. They have the new Botanical Effects line that is for sensitive skin. They also have a line for blemish prone skin, which is their Velocity line. </div><div>     If you're interested, I am a consultant and can send you some samples. Not a push, but just offering.</div><div>     Good luck!</div>
