So, I've mentioned here and there that I'm planning a huge event for the non-profit org that I'm President of. Well, today is the day! Our event starts at 6pm (PT) tonight. I've gone from being a total stressed-out basket case earlier this week to just plain excited.

I worked on my speech this morning (it was much longer than I anticipated) and am now just printing out vendor contracts to have on hand if needed. For background, the organization is a professional businesswomen's networking organization and this event is the official launch of our chapter <--- clicky.

Please send some Knottie vibes my way that the women coming tonight have a fabulous time and want to be a part of our organization, and that everything goes off without a hitch!! THX

Thanks for your vibes, ladies, they worked... the event went AWESOME! The weather was perfect and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.

The highlight of the night was a BSC and drunk-a$$ lady interrupting our keynote speaker to 'respond to that comment.' She then proceeded to slur and ramble through some diatribe on having it all... kids and career and all that. 

It was completely entertaining and will surely not be forgotten by anyone soon. Thanks again for the vibes! This is a P&R... we're off to Mexico for the weekend!
