It's Practically Spring!

In honour of the fact that it is supposed to get up to 18 degrees here (65 for Americans) it has gotten me thinking of spring. It's gotten warm quickly here, so I'm sure I'll see people in shorts today.

What are your plans for spring and summer?

Any particular goals that you want to accomplish?

It was 75 here yesterday. It stormed, but still. It rocked.

Finish junior year and also work at a summer camp.

Any particular goals that you want to accomplish?
Get wedding stuff going again, and get good grades.

What are your plans for spring and summer?
Go on vacation at some point.  the only thing I did last year was go to Gatlinburg.  It was fun, but I really want to see the ocean this summer.

Any particular goals that you want to accomplish?
Get in good enough shape that I feel comfortable in something other than my 'swimdress.'

What are your plans for spring and summer?

Working on the house, gardens and wedding plans. I think that is about it.

Any particular goals that you want to accomplish?

In terms of the house there are a couple of maintenance things that we need to take care of. In terms of fun things I'm hoping we get out new bathroom installed. I can't wait to work outside and get a nice looking property, we really struggled last year and I'm hoping it gets better this year. So, hoping to regrade around the house and put in flower beds. I'd also be really excited if we could get a clothesline set up and a firepit installed.

It was in the 80's here in the south and hot as all get out yesterday. It was a taste of what mid summer is like and I don't like it! I hate sweating anyplace other than the gym, and Georgia has a long, hot summer. The kind where walking to your car from work every afternoon causes brow sweat. And my allergies! The pollen is my mortal enemy.

But I'm just being whinySmile I actually do love all the outdoor festivals that happen. We're going to one next weekend! Drinking beer outside is one of my top 5 favorite things to do. In life. I don't have any goals, but I'd like to just savor this summer with my BF. Lots of changes are happening in the next year for me (graduate from law school, turning 30! no more Summer breaks, month long winter breaks, spring breaks!) I'm determined to have fun and relax this summer.

Yay for spring! We're only in the 40's today...it was in the 70's this weekend...we're supposed to get snow Wednesday. Colorado is so unpredictable this time of year!

What are your plans for spring and summer?
I'm heading to Puerto Rico for vacation in 2 weeks! I can hardly wait for the sun and the beach!!! I'm planning to do more outdoor activities this year...hiking, camping, fishing, backpacking. Can't wait!

Any particular goals that you want to accomplish?
I've been working on my weight loss goal (BF's brother is getting married in August and I want to feel my best for pics). Beyond that though, I really just want to be more fit and healthy. I've been cooking more at home and trying to get outside and off the couch any time the weather is nice.

What are your plans for spring and summer?
Spring - spruce up the outside of our new house...  paint some trim, finish the lawn, start my herbs and veggies.  lose 8 lbs.  get everything sorted and packed and moved by the wedding.  deep clean the inside of the new house: mop, dust, windows, filters, kitchen, bathrooms... everything!!

Summer - get married and take a vacation!  start working more on decorating the inside of the house...  we have some furniture but no rugs or curtains or anything to make it "home".  try new recipes with FI (then-DH!).  paint some rooms in the house (laundry room, bathroom, our room for sure!)

It's been Spring for a little while now here. It goes from cool to warm then straight to HOT, which lasts till basically October/November.

What are your plans for spring and summer?

My Spring plans are to go to Russia in May, yay! Other than that do good in my classes! I'm also waiting on approval to take my Pharmacology class this summer, which will be a lot of stress off my shoulders if I get into it.

Hopefully we'll also be able to take some sort of trip in August in between my summer class and before school starts back up again. I'm thinking my Orlando, Florida since my aunt lives there and we had a really good time last time we went. Or around my birthday in September we may go back to NYC.

Any particular goals that you want to accomplish?
Keep doing well in my classes and start working out MORE. I have a pinched nerve in my lower back that I've been going to the chiropractor for. Whenever I try to get back into a workout routine the pain is insanely bad and it's driving me crazy.

My plans for the summer are sadly school, all day everyday. We don't get a summer vacation in Cosmetology school, we just go straight through until we graduate. So I will be spending a lot of my time inside and on my days off, I will be at the lake or tanning, or more than likely working.

As for goals, well I really just want to get my hours done for school while improving on my skills, and all that good stuff :)

    Hopefully go travel a bit.

Any particular goals that you want to accomplish?
I want to find a full time job so I can cut back on school. School costs money and to make money, I need to work. It's hard to work when I am working less to take classes...GAHH!! It's a vicious cycle.

It's about 80 degrees in NC and it's suppose to get up to 90 today.

What are your plans for spring and summer?
I'm a summer nanny for a new family. I have been with the same family for the past three years but they moved. This new family is amazing. I'm also taking an online summer class and I need to take the Praxis I test:(

Any particular goals that you want to accomplish?
I reallly want to pass my praxis test. I heard it's more mental than anything. So I'm trying to stay positive.

Wow, lots of house work going on this spring/summer! I'm def in that group, heh.
What are your plans for spring and summer?
We are taking a trip to London and Ireland in June for my little brother's wedding. Then to MN in July for his reception, then up to NH in August for a friend's wedding, and it's not summer, but down to FL in the beginning of Sept for another friends wedding. Craziness.

I also am having a huge luau themed 30th BD bash in July, which I am super excited for!

Any particular goals that you want to accomplish?
I would like to hit the 30lbs lost mark before my 30th BD in July. I want to finish our damn bathroom reno project (started in October) so we can focus on other house projects, like landscaping the front yard and planting a veggie garden in the back yard and adding a stone walkway from the carport to the back porch stairs.

I'd also like to get my "home office" done - right now it's the only room in the house that isn't painted and that I haven't fully unpacked. So that is high on the to-do list.

Yep.  We have all four seasons here in Houston -- almost summer, summer, still summer, and Christmas.

Jester's right, it's been hot here for a while already.  I'm excited for the water to warm up, though.  The pools and lakes are still a little too cool to enjoy.  My plans for the summer involve a lot of water skiing, and hopefully getting some wedding details nailed down.

Plans for Spring - Keep to my weightloss plans and goals - continue to do as many workouts as my 2 job schedule allows and eat well and take care of myself. Nothing exciting here outside of work , work , work.

Summer - Shop around with hubby for a cheaper apartment. Talk to current job about posibility of transferring to new local area once we move in Sept. Oh yeah and by July I should finally be getting me a car - just in time for my birthday. I've been without one for nearly 4 years now.

Kind of boring but thats okay :)

It's in the 80s today, and gorgeous yesterday too.  But, the bad part about that is that the A/C broke for three buildings last week - Chem/Physics/Math building, Life Sciences, and our Foreign Language building.  I was trapped in the Chem building for two hours straight, and both classrooms were close to 90.  Not conducive to my learning calc or organic.  And, it's not going to be fixed until Thursday...

What are your plans for spring and summer?
I'm working taking care of a couple boys this summer, going to a conference to present (a national one!!!!  I'm so excited!!!) and trying to find an apartment/house so that I can move to FL for grad school in August!!!  FI wants to do a trip to NYC, and I may be visiting family in CA for my grandparents' anniversary :)

Any particular goals that you want to accomplish?
Lose some weight (I'm positive it'll fall off as soon as I start chasing puppies and kids and eating healthy all summer), get a tan, and get my life and finances in order so that I can move happily.  Well, as happily as possible.

Yay Spring! It was super warm here for a few days then it got colder again, now its starting to warm back up and I'm excited! Nothing like Southern Cali during spring and summer!!

What are your plans for spring and summer?

We just build 2 planter boxes for our backyard to grow veggies in, so I'm excited to get those planted and growing. We're also planning a 3 week long hiking trip in August, so I'm super excited about that. The rest of my plans include doing well in my classes and going to the beach and river as much as possible!

Any particular goals that you want to accomplish?

I'm shooting for a 4.0 GPA for this semester and summer session as well hiking as much as possible in preparation for our trip and getting into shape so I don't feel so self-conscious in my bikini at the beach and river. Oh and keeping my veggies alive and enjoying them!

What are your plans for spring and summer?
move in to BF's, reorganize our house, decorate, work extra shifts, fix my farmer's tan,

Any particular goals that you want to accomplish?
I really want to run a 1/2 marathon this year! Running in the summer in AZ sucks... so I might put training off until the fall and just keep up with 2-3 miles 2-3 days a week.

Goal: do not kill garden this summer
