AW: We have a date and venue!

Hey ladies! FI and I just met with the venue manager and signed our rental agreement! We are getting married on May 26, 2012 (Memorial Day weekend). The venue that we chose is a private estate and 100% of the rental fee goes to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. Here are some pictures:

The area to the left is where we will have our cocktail hour. The open space to the right is where the dance floor will be, and left of that (you can't see) is where we will have our tables set up for dinner.

This is the lawn where the ceremony will be held.

The open area is where the dance floor will be and the covered area is where the tables will be set up for dinner. Don't mind all the lawn furniture. We will be taking all that out and renting tables and chairs.

This is where we will serve our plated dinner.

Hmm, you can't at all tell from the pics that the decor is outdated. (And I did look at the beginning of the slide show just to make sure.) Of course if you prefer a hotel, the go for it!

Congrats! Having a date and venue is like the hugest relief! But also, it's kinda like "shiit just got real!"

So true! When we were leaving, I looked at FI and said, "We're getting married!!" It makes it so much more real to have a date.
