All I ever do is study and prep for classes. That is the life of a grad student/adjunct instructor. When I have time I like to watch movies :) I love Netflix!

Every season of The Office is available on Netflix for instant streaming.

I made it through 4 seasons in a week.

Seasons 1 &2 of Dexter are on Netflix.  We went through them all in a weekend!!!!  We had them send us Season 3, which we just finished, and now we'll be getting Season 4.   Wooo hooo!

This is actually the time of year with perfect weather here.  It's August that I'll be hibernating.  I usually spend my hibernating time cooking a lot, watching TV shows, and playing board games with my boyfriend.  Now I've gotten into exercising, and BF will be gone all summer, so I will join a nice gym and try to work out a bunch to keep me occupied (I'm going to join one with a hot tub and sauna to actually motivate me to go).  And I'll probably spend August in bed a lot, since BF will be home on August 12th and we'll have lots of catching up to do!

<div>True story. I <3 zombies. Sad thing is, it made me suck at Halo since that's all we've been playing recently. :(</div><div>
</div><div>I like actually getting outside if the weather isn't too crappy (snowboarding, snowshoeing, geocaching). If I'm staying in it's usually with a good book or my writing or watching a movie. Or playing video games with BF.</div>

You could come to beautiful, historic Lowell, Massachusetts and enjoy "Winter Fest" in the freezing sleet and rain. That's what most of the people around here are doing this weekend!

Passing the time isn't much different for me in the winter. I don't spend as much time outside as I do in the summer, but it's not like I don't have a gabillion chapters, essays, and homework assignments to get done!

But if we're on the subject of video games, I would recommend classic Counter Strike 1.6 or Left 4 Dead (1, not 2!!!) if you're bored. Team Fortress 2, as well! Guild Wars will certainly take up your time, and you can get ready for the new one. CoD? Psh. ;)

DH and I play World of Warcraft together. Pick up a controller, girl! If Call of Duty isn't your thing, then go shopping for a game you might enjoy playing WITH him. If he's got an XBox 360, I'd suggest Fable 3. I love that one. If you guys each have a computer and reliable internet, you should look into World of Warcraft. It's a great online multiplayer game and easy enough to get into even if you've never played games before.

I may be biased, since DH and I met in a video game, but playing together is awesome. We always have something to DO together, beyond watching TV. We're able to cooperate and accomplish goals, and work to each other's strengths. It is a great hobby for two. I think you should try it! Too many girls are disinterested in or downright hateful of their guys' gaming. When you play WITH him, it gives you a new way to connect.

Plus, I'm competitive and enjoy showing off how awesome I am when I save his sorry butt from monsters. Cool

Aw man Jeana, Fable 3 is good. But I preferred F2 personally.

I like playing arcade games with BF. But we also like Mario Kart ;)

I mostly just read a lot on my own time.

I am SO glad I'm not the only girl whose boyfriend is Call of Duty obsessed! When I'm bored indoors, I go to damnyouautocorrect.com. It's awesome. :)

    Netflix FTW.

Cleaning the house when I get stir-crazy. Reading. Purging old clothes from my closet and tossing old stacks of papers and mail I don't need.

Also, clothing-free time with the BF. Wink

Cate- who do you have for cable? Fi has comcast and I was able to stream seasons 3-5 of dexter online. I realized it had season 3 and 4 when I started on season 5. Anywho, I just finished season 5 last night and now I have to wait for the new season to start, hmph.
