AW: My First 5K! PIP

I walked/jogged my first 5K this morning! It was super cold (35- cold for a southerner!), much more than I had expected, but luckily I had some of my winter clothes on hand (I'm at college right now, most of my stuff is at home because it stays so warm down here until like November, usually!) 

Here are some pics! My only goals were to finish, mainly, and then to not be last! I accomplished those! The only thing I'm sorta bummed about is that our 60 something year old university president did better than I did haha. 

I never knew 5Ks were so fun! The cheerleaders and drumline were there to pump us up at the beginning and at the finish line (race was a circle). They also had people spread out along the course to cheer us on, including the local HS cheerleaders. So cool!
