Hi ladies, I have NO idea what I am doing when it comes the ceremony. I am thinking we have the walk in and then a reading of some sort then our Pastor will speak and then the vows and then unity candle/sand/sometihng else then kiss the bride any hoping its 30 minuetes-ish. but i really have nooooo idea what i am doing

Do you have the Pastor chosen already? If so, talk to him/her. They've done this many, many times and will be your greatest resource. They will have many different types of ceremonies already prepared that you can review with them to select the elements you want for your ceremony and for the length you want. Your ceremony can be 5 minutes or an hour... all depends on what you want to include. Our officiant provided us with a huge book that gave all the options possible for a ceremony including approximately 10 different choices of wordings for each section that we could choose from. He made it so simple it was wonderful

Don't worry, I didn't either but your pastor will know! Your idea sounds similar to how ours went :prelude, processional, "message" to B & G, gift to parents, vows, exchanging of the rings, pronouncement of marriage, communion & unity candle, kiss.

It was just H and I. It was very private and my H led just us in it. We had a table to the side with our unity candle then the juice and bread. He prayed for us then we partook in communion.

We have Planned what we want the officiant to say and have written our. Vows Ceremony is les than 15 min

If you are having a Catholic ceremony there is a book that our Deacon gave us called "Together for Life." It sounds cheesy but it has been a huge help in planning our ceremony, picking our readings, and the order of things.
