Exciting update. :)

Okay, so before Christmas I was posting, and I mentioned that SO was taking a semester off from his MBA because his job wanted to line him up for a promotion. He's been working full time for less than 2 full months, and today they told him that he's being promoted to project manager of the companies highest grossing account. He starts training in 4 weeks from the guy who's spot he's taking. They're making him salaried, and doubling his wage. We're both pretty excited, and I'm very proud of him.

 The plan is to take this new job later this spring after training, get settled and accustomed over summer, and start taking a few hours at a time in the fall. 

I also need some good vibes, because I'm taking him to an ear, nose, & throat doctor tomorrow for some seemingly serious stuff, that would take a lot of explaining. I'm just hoping it will be a quick and painless fix.

 How have your weeks been so far? We're supposed to get 12 inches of white stuff tonight! NO SCHOOL TOMORROW!!! lol

Woohoo! Job news that like is always good The timing also seems good in terms of him being able to adjust before having to jump back into classes right away.

Good luck with the ENT visit as well. BF has one scheduled for March, and we're crossing our fingers (not likely for the same thing, but any specialist visits are nerve wracking).

Also, I envy your potential snow day tomorrow. My school's President doesn't close the school due to weather, so I have to trek across town no matter what. It sucks! We should have been closed a couple of times this year. We also got dumped on on Saturday. Probably close to 12 inches total over the afternoon and evening. It's still impossible to see around the corners due to the snow banks, and parking lots are still kind of a mess as well.

Congrats to your SO!  How exciting to see his hard work paying off.   We are supposed to get sleet/snow overnight and I'm dreading it.  My work will not close so if I don't want to drive in it, I have to take PTO.  Taking a PTO day to just stay at home is no fun.

Yay for the jobby job excitement. Getting an MBA is time-consuming but when you have the right job, there is no hurry to get it all done at once. Congrats to your SO and best of luck at the ENT.

PS - We don't get snow days in AZ I miss those things!
