I just don't have the confidence it would sell. I mAde the jewelry for my BMs for my wedding and designed my own invites... but don't think it is enough to attract people to buy it.

Thanks for this post, Loopy, I needed a good laugh today.  Love your new siggy pic, by the way.

Deburnin - I'll sing with you.  I don't know that I'm the greatest singer, but my 2 & 3 year old Sunday School class never complains.

BBB - start out with just word of mouth.  I never thought I could sell the cards I make until a friend convinced me I could.  I've sold quite a few (mostly to people at church or former co-workers) and even did some invitations (besides my own).  I'm not ready for etsy yet, no way, but I do enjoy just trying to sell some word of mouth.  Good Luck with it.

This post made me realize that I have been here longer than many of the others who now have bronze or even silver, and I'm still on n00b.

    I am very quiet apparently.

ANGIE: Thanks for the encouragement. I have a girl I've known all my life who is getting married next year sometime and she is going to let me do her invites... Hopefully that will help with my confidence.

    You said "balls."

    Tee hee!

I try to be a grown up most of the time, but for some reason, regardless of context, "balls" usually makes me giggle a little on the inside.

But I'm in good company, b/c the same thing happens to Tim Gunn, apparently.

They are super easy to make. Although a super PITA to make. (I made about 200 for my wedding and another 200 cheesecake pops) You make a cake. You then crumble it up and mix it with a tub of frosting. Roll into balls. Insert stick and dip in chocolate.

BTW: LOVE the new sig. pic. I loved all your pictures, though. You were a knottie wedding I would've liked to crash!

Thanks dreamer! I did love my wedding. Well except for the wind, but other than that I thought it was pretty great. I kinda wish we would have kept "The Most Interesting Man in the World" cutout. Aka - the Dos Equis man. He was at the bar we went to for some cocktails and the manager let the boys take him. They joked around setting him around the reception. It didn't happen and he got returned with the van.

We do, and then the song no longer rhymes which makes me sad. Actually, I think most Canadians say both "zed" and "zee", but the proper way for us is "zed" because that's the British pronunciation.
