Wedding colors green and brown ok for summer?

The one and only thing my fiancé has asked for is for brown to be a color in the wedding. Green is the other color. Green and brown look great together but is it ok for a summer wedding? I thought about green and purple with tan / light brown but is that tacky or should I stick with green and brown and hope it's ok for summer? Thanks!

The idea that you have to choose particular colors for a particular season is no longer a trend. 

For example, my fall wedding was royal blue, white, and yellow. Fall colors? Not so much. But I loved them. 

If you want green and brown, go for it. Nothing says you can't. Summer or not, they are lovely colors.

I think wedding colors are what the bride and groom want, it shoudn't matter what season you are in.

If you want green and brown for a summer wedding, then you just go ahead and rock it out!  Seasons and colors complimenting one another are a thing of the past.  If you and FI have your hearts set on green and brown, then go for it!

Have whatever colors you want. Make sure your bridesmaids are comfortable in their dresses, considering the weather.

Green and brown would be lovely.  If you want  to add purple, it will complement the green and brown too.

Oh yes! That colour combo can work great for a summer wedding...although I'd choose more of a grass or apple green than a darker shade.  Click HERE to see some great examples!

maybe throw in one more lighter accent color to tone down the brown but keep it to earthy. Our colors are forest green and ivory with touchs of brown and ligher green in May and I love how everything is looking so far!
