I absolutely LOVE Halloween!! It is actually the most wonderful time of the year... everyone thinks it's christmas but I completely disagree! LOL

We're going to Dorney Park's Halloween Haunt on the 30th... to which I will be sporting fangs!! :D

I've been a vamp for the last two years... last year was the best tho!! wish I had the pic with the fangs.. :(  but love the blood tears!!

    WHOO HOO HALLOWEEN!!!

    Are you dressing up?
I was...not anymore =(  BF cancelled our Halloween plans, so I'll be pretty much just giving out candy.

    If so as what?
I was going to go as "Arkham Asylum" Harley Quinn - basically Harley Quinn in a sexy, blood-spattered nurse's outfit.

    Any special plans for Halloween?
I'm getting trick-or-treaters for the first time EVER!!! I used to live in the middle of the country, with not a whole lot of neighbors and a very long bothersome driveway. No one ever came to my house to trick-or-treat. So I'm actually looking forward to that.

    Best costume you evah had?
Hmm. I dressed as Daria one year but no one got the joke (and this is when "Daria" was popular!) But the best was probably the Hannuka Fairy. When you're the only Jewish kid in your class, you get a lot of religion questions like, "Do you have the Hannuka Fairy instead of Santa Claus?" *facepalm*  So, in my senior year of HS, I decided to play on the joke. I wore a white flowy shirt and a blue skirt. I painted Stars of David on my cheeks and wore lots of glittery makeup, plus white and silver wings, and I made myself a wand with a silver Star of David on the end. My mother thought it was hilarious, my dad thought it was blasphemous and most people didn't understand it. But it was fun.

If money was not an issue, what would you get for an all out costume?
Oooh I know!!! I would buy a recreation of Shosanna's red dress and veiled hat from "Inglorious Basterds" and add something gruesome as an extra (if you've seen the movie you probably know what that "extra" is).

    Are you dressing up?
This is probably the first year that I haven't dressed up since....FOREVER!  FI and I (well, I guess at that time I'll be able to call him my HUSBAND!) will be on our way back from our mini-honeymoon.

    If so as what?
    N/A

    Any special plans for Halloween?
Nope, maybe if we make it back in time we'll hand out candy - although our apartment complex is a bit shady...so maybe not.

    Best costume you evah had?
A home-made Michaelangelo - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costume.  Oh, it totally rocked.

If money was not an issue, what would you get for an all out costume?
Hmmm...I'll have to think about this.

Probably.  I'm not sure what I'll be yet.  I saw a really cute Tootsie Roll costume and Mad Hatter costume on Yandy, but I'm not sure I wanna shell out the money.  FI wants to go as Marge and Homer Simpson.  Haha.

    Any special plans for Halloween?

A classmate of mine is having an enormous house party.  He has the SICKEST house I've ever seen, especially for a 24 year old...complete with Lamborghini in the garage.  And he's single AND not a jerk!  I NEED to hook him up with my best friend.  Haha.

    Best costume you evah had?

Hmmm...idk.  I think the year I went as a Hershey's Kiss in middle school was pretty badass.

If money was not an issue, what would you get for an all out costume?
If money was not an issue, I'd get the complete polar bear outfit on Yandy.  So cute!

Director Kevin Smith (<em>Clerks</em>, <em>Chasing Amy</em>, <em>Dogma</em> and, more recently, <em>Zack & Miri Make a Porno</em>) also named his daughter Harley Quinn! It's a popular name for Batman fans. Personally, I cannot think of a cooler name ;-) It's better than Harley Quinn's secret identity: Dr. Harleen Quinzel.

    Are you dressing up?
I am!  I always do (except 3 years ago when I was sick). I love halloween so much :) I've listened to Thriller twice today and downloaded a spooky ringtone yesterday.

    If so as what?
I'm leaning towards going as Ke$ha. Black shiny leggings, ripped band t-shirt, possibly a leather jacket, ridiculous hair, lots of Native American inspired bracelets and necklaces, and that weird star she does on her eye. I've already got my nose pierced with a hoop in, which fits with her look.

    Any special plans for Halloween?
Not yet. . . I need to find a party!!

    Best costume you evah had?
Oh, so many to choose from. . . 2 years ago I was Thing 1. That was pretty awesome. I will now AW a pic:

    Probably not. :(

    If so as what?
I wanted to dress up as out HS principal and his wife. I thinkt aht costume would be EPIC.

    Any special plans for Halloween?
    Pass out candy..WOO WEE

    Best costume you evah had?
I had a pretty sweet Pocahontas costume my grandma made me one year. Then some lady asked if I was a cavewoman (probably because of my knotted nasty wig)

My dog made the cutest Batman ever. I finally bought my other dog a Robin costume in March but a few months later my "Batman" passed away (and the Robin costume was too big for him anyways). I will AW his pic because I think it's freaking adorable :)

If money was not an issue, what would you get for an all out costume?
One of the replica Wonderwoman costumes. Like custom made.

Are you dressing up? Probably not. We don't have any plans as of yet, so we probably won't *makes a mental note to ask SIL about their plans, since we usually do something with them*
If so as what? If I do end up having plans, it's gonna be a struggle to come up with something. I'm fairly creative, but not when it comes to this stuff.
Any special plans for Halloween? We'll see what SIL says. Her sister (who BF and I also hang out with) is big into Halloween, so maybe she'll plan something. We usually hit up the haunted houses and corn mazes and stuff throughout October, also.
Best costume you evah had? I dunno. I've never been huge into the dressing up part of Halloween, and usually throw something together last minute. I had a sweet poodle skirt as a tween, though.
If money was not an issue, what would you get for an all out costume? Hmm...I dunno. I'd probably buy a real costume for the first time ever, rather than trying to make something out of something I already own. Maybe Cinderella?

I don't know what to dress as!  I want to think of something BF and I can do together.  I used to think the couple thing was lame, but last year we went as Carmen Sandiego and Waldo and it was a hit.

I have had some great costumes, but my favorite was my lightning strike victim costume.  Teased up hair, black smudges all over my face, singed clothing... it was awesome.

OMG Carmen Sandiego and Waldo!! That's friggen awesome!! *Makes mental note for next year*

Are you dressing up? If so as what?
I got my costume last night I freakin' love it!
    large image

The skirt lights up and it comes with the headband, dress, apron, tights, choker, potion bottle, and batteries for the skirt. I'm so excited. I need to try to convince BF to do the Mad Hatter! ETA: I totally want to find a blonde wig now.

    Any special plans for Halloween?
My cousin is getting married. (The one mentioned about for naming her daughter Harley Quinn.) Halloween costumes are required, but that doesn't bother me one bit.

    Best costume you evah had?
My friends and I dressed up as the crew from Aladdin my senior year in high school. Halloween was big for us and you had to wear a costume (or suffer in your uniform, yes it was a private school.) I was Jasmine.

If money was not an issue, what would you get for an all out costume?
I would want to get one of the real princess dresses from Disney. I want to be Belle one year and would love the full out ball gown.

He didn't mind the costume itself but he HATED the hat and would always take it off. I'm surpirsed he never bit me when I put it on him. He did like to carry the arm in his mouth though, I wish I had a picture of that. :)

    Lady Gaga. Kinda like this:

My dress won't be as cool 'cause I'd like to be able to sit down! I borrowed a petticoat from a friend and will just make a big silver fishtail skirt for it. I bought some wired ribbon to try to do the surrounding hoops.

    Any special plans for Halloween?
My friends' third annual Halloween bash. I won the costume contest last year. It actually surprised the heck out of me. I was up against Sriracha Sauce (perhaps the best costume I've ever seen).

    Best costume you evah had?

My snow queen outfit last year was cool, since I won a contest. But I always loved my Wonder Woman outfit when I was five.

If money was not an issue, what would you get for an all out costume?
An authentic Wonder Woman. I'd need all-over spanx to wear something that skimpy though.

    Are you dressing up?
BF and I were going to go to a party as Snookie & The situation from Jersey shore, but now BF and I have to stay with his little bro (in a wheelchair) while his mom goes out of town.  We all like harry potter so I was thinking we should just have out own mini party and go as Harry, Ron & Hermoine :-)

    See above response.

    Any special plans for Halloween?
Just BF, his bro and myself.

    Best costume you evah had?
Would have been this years!  I don't usually dress up.

I will! I am still needing ideas but I have a few in mind. Like a fly that's been hit by a fly swatter, or Superman dressing up like Chuck Norris..

    Any special plans for Halloween?
I'm going to a the theatre to watch the showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show along with a costume contest.

    Best costume you evah had?
This is a hard one. I never really got to dress up when I was little. I remember being a pumpkin, cat, and a witch one year..but any of those never really made me excited.

If money was not an issue, what would you get for an all out costume?
I would have to say a vending machine...I've seen it done with a box and all this other stuff and u can actually have real food...plus might make some money! lol

I love RHPS! I go several times a year, ever since I was 11 (yes, 11 - my mother brought me the first time and she was deemed "coolest mom ever"). We have a regular shadow cast that performs on a monthly basis by me.

Actually, that's a good idea - I think I'll gather up some friends and go do that on Halloween instead of a party.
